Purchased a handheld GPS online and bought the 3 year warranty from Square Trade.After a year,the GPS started acting up.I went on line to start a claim.From that point,Square Trade basically held my hand to satisfy my claim.They issued me a UPS label and after a few days I had a full refund.NO HASSLE!.

Received the email within hours of purchasing. Simple to use. Easily scanned receipt into system.

99% of the time when I buy something and am offered an "extended warranty" I will not buy it as they tend to be a ripoff. This time I bought one for my Magellan- and I'm VERY happy I did and pleased with the results. My Magellan stopped working entirely, I emailed them and got a quick reply with claim instructions. They approved my claim in under 24 hours, emailed me a mailing label, and then emailed me when the package containing my old Magellan got there. I was given 3 options for payment- Paypal, Amazon gift card (for which they will up the payment 5% if you choose), and check. Because I had to get another Magellan right away, I chose check so am waiting on it to arrive in the mail.
These people are fast, easy to deal with, and I WOULD recommend their warranty service. The next time I buy something through Amazon and am offered their extended warranty, you can bet I'll get it.

Havent needed warrenty work yet but comunication and follow up to be sure I recived my information has been great.

This item was shipped to me quickly. I haven't had need to use it yet.

Have not had to use the extended warranty yet, so it is kind of difficult to rate this item not having used it. Hopefully it will be there if I need it!

I did a computer check on pricing of other GPS products and guarantees and decided on the Amazon guarantee. The quality of the product and company decided it for me.
