I just wanted to give Square trade RAVE REVIEWS!
Long Story Short... I bought a flat screen TV on EBay about 2 years ago,
It was about $300 and as most I was skeptical about paying for a extended warranty as most like me think it is a waste.
But being I bought it online I did ( Thankfully ) take the Square Trade Warranty for a very reasonable price of $25
Hoping I would never use it of course, Until this month, My LCD screen started to flicker and and then HALVE the screen went BLANK!

Well I called on Square Trade thinking I would have to go through all kind of repair hoops!! But In 1 friendly phone call they said don't worry, we will send you a pre-paid shipping label and refund your purchase fully!! ( I was like what? that simple )
Anyhow, I did not have a box by know for my 36" TV and they accommodated me by saying, We apologize, Never mind sending it back. We will just refund the purchase for you.. WOW! Cool!! Tell me who does that anymore!! I was Shocked and needless to say VERY PLEASED!!! KEWL!! The Square Trade Warranty was worth every penny, and no "Hassles" at all!!

Way to GO Square Trade.

I purchase a Square Trade warranty on just about all of my electronic purchases.I recently had to put in a claim on a new television that quit working. Square Trade was fast on responding to my warranty claim. I am extremely impressed with the professionalism displayed by Square Trade.

I've been purchasing electronic warranties for years and when I discovered SquareTrade I have never used anyone else since. Every electronics purchase I make I use SquareTrade for my warranty service.

I've had to file a claim three times and all have been very positive experiences. When it wasn't feasible to repair the item they have simply cashed out my warranty coverage, allowing me to purchase a replacement item myself. Absolutely no hassles.

Recently, I had a TV where the HDMI sound was going out. They arranged for their repair service to send a box so I could send it in for repairs. The repair service actually sent the wrong size box. Rather than have me wait for a new box and for what might have been a lengthy repair anyway - they went ahead and cashed out my policy so I could go and buy a new TV right there on the spot.

You have your choice of Amazon gift card with a %% bonus, check, or even PayPal. I love SquareTrade and every TV, Blu Ray, etc I own will be under warranty with them. Period.

This was my first time to make a claim, with Square Trade, and was I suprised. Fast, easy, painless. I purchased a refurbished LED TV that started showing back light bleeding. They first offered a possible solution for my problem and asked that I send in a few photos of the screen. After only one day of receiving the requested documentation, they immediately started to process a full refund claim. I was kept informed all the way through and had my FULL refund within 2 days on my paypal account. The whole process was less than 5 days. I usually do not buy extended warranties, on the advice of a leading consumer magazine, but Square Trade has rates that you just can't refuse, especially the way electronic manufactures build their products these days. I will continue to purchase Square Trade warranties.

I have purchased many warranty's from Squaretrade but have never had to use any of them til recently. About a year and a half ago I purchased a warranty on a LCD TV/w DVD player I got off ebay, and the dvd player just started skipping in the past 2 weeks. I had never used the warranty before and thought it would be a long and complicated process. Boy was I WRONG!! Filled out a simple claim form, recieved a pre-paid shipping label "via e-mail" within a matter of just a few minutes, shipped it off the next day, and Squaretrade sent me a full refund for the TV's purchase price in just acouple of days. The TV hadn't even been delivered to them yet and I already had my refund. It was one of the easiest and best things I had ever done. Even if I had bought the tv and warranty from a local store, it wouldn't have been as easy or fast as SqareTrade. With out a doubt, All my future warranty purchases will be with SquareTrade!!! Thank Ya'll Very Much!!!!

I liked the experience with Square Trade Warranty because they took care of my problem with a matter of one phone call and I received my reimbursement into Paypal right away. I did have to pack the defunct item but usually they send you a box. I liked the fact that the postage for shipping was paid by Square Trade.

If there is a better warranty program at a lower price, I don't know what it is. Had several claims and virtually no questions asked.

The people at square trade are great. They immediately started working on the claim and we got a great response from them everytime we talked. The only negative was the actual repair shop. They did not have the tools he needed because he left them at the previous job and did not leave any kind of receipt. They claimed to have fixed the TV and asked me if I could pick it up. We did but the TV was not indeed fixed. They wanted me to bring it back to them. I didn't have the time for this 40 minute drive so I waited for when they could pick it up. A week went by and no call from the repair shop so I called square trade back to let them know and finally they called 2 days later to let me know they could not pick it up for another 2 weeks. Well they finally did that and lo and behold got a call back a week later to find out it was better for squaretrade to pay me out. Which I accepted. Again, this is not a bad reflection of squaretrade themselves but on the actual repair shop. My only suggestion would be for them to check into the repair shops before they use them. And if you are the one getting a repair you should check out the repair shop and voice any concerns to squaretrade before having a shady repair shop come and take your TV.

I'm normally skeptical of extended warranties, especially those offered outside of the retailer i'm purchasing my electronic device from. However, Squaretrade has exceeded my expectations as a result of a recent claim on my LCD. They dispatched a technician within 2 days of my call, the technician confirmed what needed replacing, and Squaretrade called me within 2 days offering replacement options since it was no longer economically feasible to repair my set. Within a week, I have the funds and am already shopping for a new LCD. I will be a repeat customer of Squaretrade without a doubt.

Before buying squaretrade, I perceived them as a shady company. This is probably because there were bad reviews from years ago, but whether or not they were shady in the past doesn't matter, because right now they are really awesome.

I bought a 46" Samsung HDTV something like 8 months ago (a refurbished one), and with it I bought a squaretrade warranty. Just a few weeks ago it started showing black lines across the top of the screen and then just a black band. I made a claim with squaretrade, the next day it was approved, and in 3 days after that I got 100% full reimbursement for my purchase price.

It's hard to believe that it actually happened so quickly, hassle-free. I am used to being subjected to a run-around, filling out forms, arguing with store managers, etc.

Very happy with squaretrade, will always buy a warranty from them from now on.
