Comedy audiences are tougher customers than ever before, looking for comedy that avoids the easy punchline and takes them somewhere they didn't expect. Squeaky Clean Comedy does just that: it mixes Henny Youngman standards with fresh, new plot-twisting humor. Ironic that clean comedy is braver than dirty jokes these days.

On can read these jokes without getting angry, which is good. There were quite many Rodney Dangerfield jokes or similar jokes, which are not that great. Why is it supposed to be funny when somebody is mocking so harhsly himself? Perhaps they are funny when spoken among a great audience. There were too many which were rather negative descriptions about human beings, which was a bit disappointment. That is typical of most aphorisms, too. I admit that there were some jokes which require full understanding about American life, but I expected more real jokes and not so many one-liners.

I really began to enjoy clean jokes after my son built a clean joke website. I still go to cleanjoke.net each day to read his new joke, but I get really tired of reading on the computer screen. It was because of this that I bought this clean joke book so I could sit and read it in the comfort of my reading chair. These jokes are hilarious and my eyes feel so much better when reading them out of a book!

But I might have sold it for the right price...Anyhoo, I bought this for my sister in law's birthday, which was May 1st. I'm still not finished reading it though, so I came here for a second copy...hers is all bent and dog-eared. I can't believe Brian Beatty gave a review, and Phil Sasso's wife I'm such a fan. Buy several copies for all your funny lovin' loved ones. You simply can't miss!!!

Judy's collection of jokes just keeps getting better with each new book she puts out. Thanks Judy for putting together a collection of jokes that the entire family can share and laugh at. I left a copy of the book on the kitchen table, later I found grandma and grandson both reading from the book and laughing out loud. I can't wait for your next collection.

Judy has always had a terrific eye for comedy. Now she's turned her keen sense of wit and humor to squeaky clean stuff and result is an absolutely hilarious collection of jokes, witticisms and observations. Well done, Judy. Well done.

This collection of jokes does not feature sex or bad language, but includes many "I heard these stale jokes before" along with recycled Leno jokes, etc. There's a reason for the low price.

Being the wife of one the contributors I have been telling all my friends to buy it. They all have the same comment.." It's hard to believe that a book with so many jokes can be so funny without(as the title itself indicates) even a hint of blue material.
I have bought all of Judy Brown's jokebooks because they are, without question, the best with regards to format, material and contributors.
If ever you don't know what to get as a gift for someone, "Squeaky Clean Comedy" is the perfect choice!

If I knew how to laugh -- and liked to read -- this would be the perfect book for me. Instead, I had to settle for getting a bit of my stand-up routine included. Too little, I say -- or this would have been a five-star review.
