This review is from: Deluxe LED Fogless Shower Mirror with Squeegee by ToiletTree Products. Guaranteed Not to Fog, Designed Not to Fall. 20% Larger Than Our #1 Selling Original Mirror. (Misc.)
As the leading reviewer of the standard version of this mirror, the company sent me the deluxe version at no cost in exchange for writing a review. In order to avoid being repetitive, I suggest you read my review of the standard version concerning ease of installation and effectiveness of use. Instead I will concentrate on how the deluxe version differs:
1. The surface area is indeed 20% larger. However, I never had any problem seeing my entire face to shave in the standard version. But apparently the company received suggestions from some users to make a mirror with a larger surface area, and this product is it. If you want to upgrade from the standard version, the good news is that you can use your existing wall bracket and do not need to install a new one.
2. The deluxe version has battery operated LED lighting around all four edges. The company has included the necessary three AA batteries, and opening the battery compartment cover to install them is quite simple. No special tools needed, just a coin to turn the compartment from locked position to unlocked.
The LED lighting is conveniently operated by a button on the side, and there are two brightness levels. Push once for the high setting, a second time for the low setting, and a third time to turn the light off.
Although I had no trouble shaving using just the ambient light in the shower from my bathroom lights, the LED lighting is a nice touch, though certainly not essential if you have sufficient ambient lighting in your bathroom shower.
3. Droplets of water will inevitably form on the surface of the mirror, though they will not interfere with your ability to see what you are doing. Nonetheless I like to remove them (as do most users), and the squeegee included with the deluxe version does a better job than the original squeegee. Once again, the original squeegee does work, but the deluxe one works a little better.
Bottom line: This product, like the standard version, will give you a fog free shaving experience if you follow the directions and fill the reservoir with warm water. As I mentioned in my original review, it does not matter if you forget to do this before you start your shower (as I sometimes do). Fill it with warm water at anytime during the shower, and just watch the fog on the mirror disappear (the mirror will of course fog if the reservoir is not filled with warm water).
Whether you buy the standard or deluxe version (which costs an extra twenty dollars) is of course a matter of personal preference since both products work equally effectively. The added "bells and whistles" on the deluxe version are definitely a nice touch. You just have to decide how important they are to you. But whatever version you buy will give you the fog free shaving experience you are looking for.
Update October 26, 2011: After using this for several weeks, I decided that if I were buying something for the first time I would buy the deluxe unit rather than the standard unit, even though the standard unit works just fine.
There are three things that I really like about the deluxe unit : (1) the larger surface area, (2) the way the squeegee works, and (3) maybe it's just practice, but taking this on and off the bracket seems easier than on the standard unit. I still don't use the LED lighting because my shower has plenty of ambient light, but I'm sure other people find that feature useful.

MY HUSBAND LOVES IT, October 6, 2011
This review is from: Deluxe LED Fogless Shower Mirror with Squeegee by ToiletTree Products. Guaranteed Not to Fog, Designed Not to Fall. 20% Larger Than Our #1 Selling Original Mirror. (Misc.)
Bought this mirror for my husband who always complains about countless shower mirrors he has bought for shaving.
Either they fog up or they continuously fall from the wall. I saw this mirror on Amazon and liked it because it had a light on it. Our bathroom is dark in the shower so this is also another complaint my husband has.
I checked the reviews on this company and they have another similar mirror without the light and the reviews where amazing compared to the other mirrors I looked at so I took a chance and bought it.
My husband can't stop thanking me.
Finally he said a shower mirror that works.
Thanks Toilette Tree.
Denise

Nice, but not my dream mirror...., November 24, 2011
This review is from: Deluxe LED Fogless Shower Mirror with Squeegee by ToiletTree Products. Guaranteed Not to Fog, Designed Not to Fall. 20% Larger Than Our #1 Selling Original Mirror. (Misc.)
PRO: This shower mirror is OK - not "just barely OK" but a "nice" ok. It seems to be decently put together, and was easily installed (with clear instructions & needed supplies). How it will hold up as a mirror remains to be seen, as I just recently received it. It certainly functions as advertised and, given the simple principles upon which it works, should continue to do so. Tried letting it fog up with no water in the container, then filled it with the requisite warm water and it defogged rapidly, within just several seconds. The included squeegee slips readily into the molded holder.
CONS: [1]The mirror is, frankly, dis-oriented by 90 degrees - it would be a whole lot more useful if the top to bottom dimension was the larger one - i.e., most people I know have faces that are longer than they are wide yet this mirror is oriented (and can't be changed) with the larger dimension going side to side. [2]The re-mounting once filled with water is adequate but you're doing it blindly since the mounting slot is on the back so it's a bit awkward. [3]The two-levels LED lighting only works, out of the box, on one intensity and is overall kinda useless - if you shower & shave in a pitch black room it'd likely be somewhat useful but in a regular shower with some ambient light it's useless and I certainly wouldn't pay the extra $20 for the light. [4] It'd also be better to have a hanging razor holder on the side of the attached bottom shelf, as it's rather awkward to fit and retrieve a razor from the shelf as is, squeezing in between the mirror's bottom edge and the squeegee holder; a molded holder at either end of the shelf would be better. [5]It's nowhere near as nice as the several mirrors I've had with a magnifying option (but then again, they had the stupid plumbing connection that corrodes and made them dysfunctional).
All in all a decent mirror, worth the lower price ($30 without LED), that'll do nicely until something better comes along. (And way better made than the totally junk ShowerTek model whose plastic plumbing connection broke while first being installed.)
