I'm wearing it right now!,

I bought this vest because I was tired of feeling lumpy in my daily work clothing. I'm not obese or overweight, but I don't have a body to die for and have always been shaped more like a boy (no curves.)
I'm 5'9, 135lbs with most of my fat carried in my belly area, so I bought a medium. At first I could barely squeeze my chubby tubby into the first set of hooks. I wore it for about an hour and it was a tight feel, but not uncomfortable at all. After about 2 hours, I thought I'd try and go down to the next level hook and it actually wasn't too difficult to do. Now I wear it every day for at least 8 hours while I am at work (it also helps the back - I haven't had pain from sitting in my desk chair the entire time I've been wearing it.) At first, after 8 hours of wearing it, I would find that my body maintains the shape this vest gives me for about an hour when I took it off. Now I've been wearing the vest for a week and my shape is already changing ( I haven't lost dramatic inches, but I've got a curve!!!!) I don't like wearing it right against my skin because I do sweat a lot - I got a ton of thin tank tops and wear that underneath and I still sweat, but it doesn't feel as slimy. After a week, my body has become used to this shape that wearing this vest is no longer feels very tight and actually seems pretty natural. The only downside is that the vest doesn't go under many sleeveless tops - the straps are big and if you don't have them adjusted right, they can dig into your armpits (I have mine at the longest length and they are comfortable.) This vest also does wonders for the breasts - I have an average chest B-C cup, but they perk right up (my theory is that all the jigglies have been squished from my stomach area and into my [...] - tee hee) I also ordered the Squeem waist cincher in a small so I could try and transition to an even smaller waist. That one is good as well, but the vest does a better job of all over smoothness. You won't have back fat popping out the top or bottom. The vest goes down a long ways so you won't have it rolling up at all. I use the waist cincher when I want to wear a sleeveless top and it gives a nice shape. I haven't modified diet or exercise yet, but I plan to do that to get more dramatic results.

Couldn't Love It More,
This review is from: Squeem Magical Lingerie Shapewear, Firm Compression, Cotton & Rubber, Vest, Black, Large (Health and Beauty)
I've tried so many girdles and shapeware with little effect and much disappointment over the years. Though I'm "only" 15 lbs. overweight, I've never had much of a waist to speak of and it was wide - always around 30", currently around 34". After 4 children and a body type that stores weight in my middle, I have had difficulty looking good in pretty much everything. The newer jean styles just enhance my problem (the old muffin-top syndrome), and in skirts and dresses, I just looked frumpy and dumpy. Past items have just squeezed the fat up over the top or out the bottom, with negligible tummy flattening - very unattractive and uncomfortable to boot. So it was with trepidation and extreme skepticism that I ordered this product.
I'm so happy to report that this vest has given me the figure I never had even before I had children! The vest style kept the fat from spilling over the top, and the length keeps it from spilling out the bottom. It truly COMPRESSES and distinctly creates a waist. I can't adequately express how wonderful it feels to have a waist that looks realistic and sexy. And these modern jeans now look FANTASTIC on me. It is very tight, but not uncomfortably so. I was used to mine within minutes, and though aware I was wearing it, it wasn't uncomfortable at all. Just make sure you get the right size - keep YOUR measurements and your knowledge of your body in mind when you look at sizes. On the height/weight measurement chart, my size was supposedly Medium, but that chart didn't speak to my unusual proportions and predominantly abdominal weight problem. According to the bust/waist/hip ratio chart, I was supposedly a 1X. I am 5'7", 145 lbs., wear size 9, have a 40D bust, a 34" waist, and 38" hips - not quite a 1x. I chose the LARGE, which I was able to fasten on the second set of fasteners (with effort), it fit me perfectly and instantly gave the desired effect. You will want to have some strength in your hands to fasten this, or the help of someone who does. As others have said, this product isn't for very clingy, see-through, or downright tight tops or dress bodices - though you can get away with it in dark, solid colors and shirred fabrics. Spaghetti straps also will not work with the vest, so for outfits like that you may just want the cincher - though that may cause the "back-fat" thing for some women. Sitting can be a little weird looking in pants or tight dress (it definitely encourages good sitting posture), but looser clothing (remember "loose" does not equal "shapeless" - you can wear tapered clothing and your good figure shows through), darker colors, or a sweater/vest/shawl...strategically placed purse, solves that. :) I don't count any of these as a negatives against the product though - there is only so much an outer garment can do. For me, I'm willing to make wardrobe adjustments (slightly looser tops, wider straps on sleeveless tops, solid/dark colors for tighter tops/bodices, shirred fabrics, wearing a camisole to hide fasteners) to enjoy this phenomenal product. You can compensate for looser tops/bodices, with a lower neckline (this product lifts the boobs great!), and tops that are tapered without being form-fitting. I wholeheartedly recommend this product - it is worth every cent, and when you figure in renewed self-esteem, so much more! UPDATE: I finally got back to this review, lol. I didn't lose any weight, but that probably has more to do with my thyroid issues than the product. As with many things, it's all individual. I bought the 1x for my daughter who had her baby a year ago, and she HAS lost weight - she wears a Large like me now. I wanted to offer some advice concerning the use of lotions and the rubber smell that can get on your skin - wear a light tank top between your skin and the vest and only apply lotions to areas the vest does not cover. If you buy some snug, full size panty briefs (or Spanx, or something along those lines), they can go over the bottom edge of the vest and keep it more securely in your pants. I prefer high waist pants in general, but when that's not what's going on, I do the snug brief thing. You could also just buy a 'spandexy' cheap tube girdle and wear it a little lower to hold the bottom in place better as well if you're more of a thong kind of girl. And lastly, if you sometimes feel that your breasts are just a little too perky while wearing this product, you can put on a sports bra to tone it down a bit. With a black sports bra OVER the vest AND your normal bra (also in black), you have the bottom "layer" for that layered tank-top look. Trust me, it looks great. In short, play around a bit find the tricks and tips to accentuate your squeem experience!

My 3rd one!,
By Only complaints are - it tends to roll up at the bottom (if you tend to be more pear-shaped) and sometimes the fasteners show through your blouse (if you wear clingy material). But besides that - I love it!

I'm 5'8 and typically wear a size 8. I consider myself average except for my tummy, which is why I bought this product. When I first put it on, it was certainly tight, and actually made me feel like I was having a hot flash. It is rubber on the outside and does make you warm. The cloth on the inside is very helpful, but when you take the garment off your skin will smell like rubber and be sticky from the moisture ( not very romantic ). This wasn't terrible, but you will notice. I wore this around the house the first day and simple tasks like bending to get items out of lower cabinets was uncomfortable, this garment is very stiff which I guess is what it is intended to do. It is great if you're not moving. HA! Day 2, I'm not giving up on this just yet, so I put it on in the morning and hope to wear it all day. Again, not easy to bend and move in. The garment has begun digging into my waist. My upper abdomen looks great in it, but the part of my waist between the upper and lower abdomen now has a defining crease. This has made me more selfconscious. I'm walking around more worried about the huge crease between my upper and lower abdomen. hmmm.. Guess the garment does "give you a waist". Now after several hours of running errands, in and out of the car, unloading groceries, etc. The garment started to pucker in the back and slowly creep up a little. This caused me great concern while walking around in public. Worried if my lower back looked weird while in the grocery store. As promised I wore this ALL day. My hubby and I went to dinner, and you can not lean in your chair. I'm serious here, just leaning over your plate to take a bite isn't easy. Almost funny the first time you try. This garment keeps you very very straight! I definitely knew I had it on, which makes you wonder if you're acting strange. So distracting during dinner, that I spent the entire dinner worried about this garment, was it moving, was the back still puckered, don't lean over to say something, careful getting up, etc.....GEE! Didn't realize this was going to be all consuming. The garment did get more comfortable because it stretched a little, but this is obvious because of the waist creasing and back puckering. I did wear a slightly tighter shirt, and unless it was skin tight you're not going to see the hooks. But, you will notice the crease in the waist and puckering in the back. Now, while sitting upright and not moving at the dinner table, I look down and my upper thighs are bulging. Bulging at the crease between my hip and thigh. I'm guessing the compression of the vest has pushed everything down. Luckily I placed my napkin on my lap high enough to cover the unsightly thigh bulge. By the end of the day, the straps have rubbed the front of my shoulder, a little tender there. Ultimately, would I wear it again, maybe from time to time when I feel the garment is needed. Such as a formal dinner, etc. I'll just need to wear it when I don't mind the constant distraction just to look thinner, and don't have a romantic evening planned. The rubber smell and sticky skin will not help your love life. Hope this helps...

Could Be Better,
This review is from: Squeem Magical Lingerie Shapewear, Miracle Vest, Firm Compression, Cotton & Rubber, Vest, Beige, Medium (Health and Beauty)
This is a good product, but with prolong use of lotions in contact with rubber, it will deterioate the product, causing the rubber to become detached. The longest use of item is about 3 to 5 months of good use, before it loses its shape and rubber detaches.

I had to read the reviews before even considering buying the vest. After I saw it got good reviews I went for it. I got lucky because I ordered the right size right off the bat!
Let me tell you, I'm wearing tees I had stopped wearing before because of my jelly roll. With the vest I can wear anything I want as long as it's a dark colored material. I got the black vest. I've been wearing it since the end of April, and it's July now. Let me add that I get more men looking at me. I already have an hour glass-type figure, so with the Squeem it gives me an even more curvier look. I live and work in Iraq (base), and it is HOT here, so I find that I'm sweating a lot underneath it when I go outside. Sweat puddles down the back of my pants, and in the front. While it is a little of a pain I just dismiss it...afterall it is hot out here. So far it's held its elasticity pretty well. I have to wash it often because I sweat so much. I actually wear it for 12 hours (normal work hours for me), seven days a week! I did find that I had a few pimple-type bumps on my back that became itchy, but soon went away. The vest tucks nicely into my pants, but every now and then when i stand up I have to remember to tuck it in some as it shifts. The upper portion could stand to be a bit smaller as it is a little loose on me. Maybe I'm just loosing fat and need a smaller size. I think I'll be wearing this one for a few more months before getting a smaller size. I feel more confident with it on, and even use it when I go to the gym. I can't leave my living quarters without it. It's become a part of my wardrobe, and I am so happy I got it. I can wear tight fitting women's tees and don't feel conscious at all, but rather "sexy" and curvacious. It also gave my breasts a nice lift. It is well worth the money. The manufacturer recommends NOT to use lotions of any kind while you wear this. I've seen a few reviews where the rubber has become detached, DUE to them wearing lotions... so DONT put on any type of lotion under it... Mine has lasted quite a bit, that's for sure---EVEN in EXTREME and HAZARDOUS (DRY) conditions! I say "GO FOR IT!"

I want to put a pic up, but I don't see how to do it, so I'll just explain my experience. OMG...I have loat 100 lbs over the last 2 yrs but still remain top heavy. I don't mean in the breast area---the MIDSECTION...When I'm consistent with situps, it helps a little---but when I put the Squeem on, WOWSA! I get the midsection to die for. No lie!!!!!!! I instantly look 15-20 lbs smaller. It's crazy. Of course you'll experience discomfort the first few days, but it's sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo worth it. I hope you will experience the joy this has brought me. I bought the cincer without the straps too, because you can't war the full on with low back tops, it will show. The full one is the best though, so buy it first. I just ordered one size smaller and it's only been 30 days. CRAZY.
Good Luck!

I purchased my Squeem a few weeks ago, but I haven't worn it every day. Each time I wear it for the recommended time (8-10 hrs.) and then take it off, I notice that I really do look slimmer. Some people complained about the smell, but it's not bad. I wear a camisole under it to avoid the skin irritation that some complained about. There is a warning on the back that states, " Persons with higher skin sensitivity may suffer some irritation. If you feel any kind of discomfort while using this product, stop using it immediately and contact our Customer Service." I think that as long as you have a cotton shirt and maybe some baby powder on, most people should be okay. I have noticed a little moisture on my camisole each time I've taken it off.
One person mentioned that she sleeps with it on. I tried that the first night, but woke up in the middle of the night with very bad back pain. The pain also lasted the entire next day. I want to include some measurement/size information before I recycle the box (because I know I'm not going to return this product). Here is some information for sizes: Waist: 0-2/2-4/4-6/6-8/8-10/10-12/12-14/14-16/16-18/18-20/20-22/22-24/24-26 Bra: 32/ 32/32-34/ 34/ 34 / 36 / 36 / 38 / 38 /38-40/40-42/42-44/44-46 Size: P / S / S / M / M / M / L / L / XL / XXL /XXXL /XXXL /XXXXL I hope this helps. I tried to make this look like the chart on the back, but each time I preview my review, I see that it lines up a little differently. Just match the first waist size with the first bra size and the first Squeem size (0-2 waist/ 32 bra size/ Squeem size P)

Great for lower back pain,
By
This review is from: Squeem Magical Lingerie Shapewear, Miracle Vest, Firm Compression, Cotton & Rubber, Vest, Nude, Large (Health and Beauty)
I was a little skeptical buying this to be honest. But it was recommended to me for my lower back-pain (I just had my 2nd baby a year ago) that wouln't go away. I've had it 2 weeks now and I wear it mostly while I exercise and when I go walking with the kids. It is great because it not only holds in the stomach (great girdle if that's what you are looking for) but in holding in the stomach it takes ALOT of pressure off the lower back. When I wear this, I feel great and my back honestly doesn't ache like it used to.
The only thing I didn't like is that it's not comfortable sitting down because the bottom of the vest does roll up some, even with the boning. But, I only use it while exercising at the gym on the elliptical or when out walking with the kids so I don't sit too much in it. It may be that it's a bit long for me as I am only 5'4". But it's great for helping your posture and relieving lower back pressure. |
