This is a beautiful instrument combining classic Fender quality with Squier's budget friendly price. The guitar was ready to play right out of the box, no need to tweak it with a professional setup. It did require a minor string height adjustment a week or so later due to temperature and humidity changes, but this was easily accomplished by raising the action slightly at the bridge utilizing the tiny allen wrench included with the guitar. The maple neck is fast and smooth - feels like melted butter, the intonation is right on target, and the 5 way pick-up switch provides a variety of tonal qualities to accommodate styles from Rock to Blues and Jazz. I am a serious hobbyist and bought this guitar to add to a small collection. I am delighted with it and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a guitar with the renowned qualities of a Fender Stratocaster, but at a much more affordable price.

This is an incredible guitar!!! Good quality, great sustain but even better feel. So warm and clean. The action was set perfect and packaging for shipment was outstanding. The finger board is glossed, its a first for me but I like it. Tuners are really easy to turn and far apart. I am playing thru a valve state and it still has a warm tone. I feel I got my moneys worth and more.
