4.0 out of 5 stars Squishy little fun!
Here you're looking at a bubble pack of Squinkies, that is small soft silicone pencil toppers painted and shaped as cute things such as pups, cats, cakes, and babies.

Squishy's caught on through Sea Mania and Zoo Mania capsule machines, which started dispensing the little squishy critters over a year ago. in the pack you get 12 shapes you can see in the...

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing
Yes, kids LOVE them. We did too, as children...when we got them out of gum ball machines for a penny! The little plastic ball containers are flimsy and hard to close for little hands. The toys themselves are very tiny and unless you have the world's tiniest pencil...well, they won't fit on the head of any pencil I have. My daughter liked them, played with them for a...

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing, December 6, 2010

Yes, kids LOVE them. We did too, as children...when we got them out of gum ball machines for a penny! The little plastic ball containers are flimsy and hard to close for little hands. The toys themselves are very tiny and unless you have the world's tiniest pencil...well, they won't fit on the head of any pencil I have. My daughter liked them, played with them for a whole 15 minutes, but truthfully, lost half of them by the end of the day (they are small) and had a very hard time closing the containers, as I said. The pack I bought cost 10 dollars, with 12 of the Squinkies in them. By the time we got home (1/2 hour) she had lost 3 of them in the car...still haven't found them yet! Ok, so kids lose toys, especially small ones, and that's not the fault of the company...however, what made me angry was the realization that these were nothing more than gum ball machine toys with fancy name and new packaging and I spent 10 good American dollars on stinky toys from China. That bothered me.

4.0 out of 5 stars Squishy little fun!, September 12, 2010

Here you're looking at a bubble pack of Squinkies, that is small soft silicone pencil toppers painted and shaped as cute things such as pups, cats, cakes, and babies.

Squishy's caught on through Sea Mania and Zoo Mania capsule machines, which started dispensing the little squishy critters over a year ago. in the pack you get 12 shapes you can see in the package and 4 "surprise" Squinkies that are a mystery until you pop open their plastic bubbles. Speaking of which they all come with small storage bubbles which is a smart move as they attract hair and dirt as you handle them.

Most of the fun from these comes from trading or wearing them, there are supposedly "rare Squinkies" but this is false as each pack has a set configuration of Squinkies. There are several of these bubble packs, each with a different set (you can tell them apart by the color of the mystery bubbles if you can't recognize the shapes) even the mystery bubbles will always have the same set. For example you buy two 16 packs with purple mystery bubbles you will get two of the exact same set. So to get them all you have to buy one of EVERY set they make as well as playsets and carrying cases. I would have liked blind packs more as it would add to the trading aspect but this way you can buy the same sets for two different kids and know they wont argue over certain ones.

These are girl-targeted but I've heard little boys like these too so it probably won't be long before some stereotypical male version of them comes out full of tanks and guns in small squishy form. Our country has gender issues -_-" Anyways, they are also cheap so don't expect some radical wonderful toy as you aren't spending much at MSRP (please make sure you only pay MSRP and not price gougers), they are just little squishy figures, cute and fun. ;)

my daughter loves these. plays with them all the time. small and kind of squishy. the little spheres they live in will one day break, i imagine. but there is a dexterity involved with closing the spheres, and it is nice to see my little girl getting that learning. dont buy if your kid eats toys. my girl doesnt. but this would be bad if she did. the are just big enough to swallow and probably get stuck right in the middle of the youngsters throat.

adorable little toys, my daughter seems to love them. They have no educational value that I can see however to collect and look at they seems great. My daughter has always loved "little toys" polly pockets etc. She seems to love to put them in the gumball machine and then open all the little capsules.

The product arrived as advertized and in very timely manner. Not thrilled to have to buy online what should be in the stores (always out of stock!), but grateful that they can be purchased somewhere! My daughter LOVES these little things, and they are kind of cute. If your child has strong imagination, he or she can play with these things for hours - so much variety in a pack.

These are cute and fun for kids, but kind of a pain to keep track of. They bounce when dropped so they quickly get lost under things. However the kids love them and play with them all the time so i can't really complain. I wish there was a check sheet that came with them to keep track of the ones you have so when buying more it's easy to see what ones to get.

My niece and her friends loves these Squinkies. I think they're just supposed to be fun figurines. Not sure where they come from but they're pretty cute. They come in a little bubble and the figures are little people or animals.

My daughter loves this toy; and even carries some of them off to the shower with her. She likes the "tiny" factor of the toy. I would not recommend this for small children who would put it in their mouthes; but it's great for her age-range.
