I found this little book (in fact, the entire series) very interesting and just right for my 3-year-old. It gives enough information to make it a fascinating read for her without getting too much into technical details, i.e. becoming boring for someone with a still limited vocabulary. We enjoy reading this book (and looking at the detailed pictures) over and over. (Did you know that ground squirrels do hibernate whereas tree squirrels do not?). Highly recommended for younger children.

I love wildlife, especially chipmunks and squirrels. This book has been a pleasure for me and a wonderful learning tool for my neice and newphews.
