I am thrilled to finally find a book that both boys and girls enjoy equally well. The "Animal Ark" books have the "aaw" factor of cuddly animals that the girls love and the suspense factor to hold the fleeting attention of the boys. These books NEVER sit on the shelf! Although the target audience and reading level are younger students, the 12-14 set like them just as much. A lovely respite from Harry Potter, too.

The name of the book I read was Squirrels in the School. This book was written by Ben M. Bagilio. In the beginning Mandy's school is having a play. She met a pair of squirrels outside of the school building and names them Salt and Pepper. The next day Mandy came back to see her headdresses ruined. Was it Salt and Pepper? Are they causing havoc throughout the school? To find out simply read the book Squirrels in the School.

Mandy and James find squirrels in the school. The janitor wants to get rid of them by putting poison down. Will Mandy and James save the family of squirrels? Read Squirrels in The School by Ben M.Baglio and find out. It is a very exciting book because of all the action.
