We bought these to replace our old bath toys, so we wouldn't have PVCs in our bath. The lobster's body is cloth, but there hasn't ever been any mildewing. The snail broke apart along its seam after about a year, but the star and lobster are still in mint condition - this collection is worth it just for those two.
