Editorial Reviews

Review

New York Times:
"An energetic, good-hearted escapade, one that young readers will enjoy."

Starred Review, Kirkus Reviews:
* "Hilarious. If ever a new series deserved to go viral, this one does."

The Bulletin:
"A perfect mix of writing that is simple enough for early readers but still remarkably snarky, clever, and entertaining. Kids will soak up the humor, tidbits of science instruction, and adventure."

I teach a 4/5 combo and my students love the Squish books.

As for this series in particular, I'm not sure why she likes these, but she asks for these and My Little Pony comics more than any of the others I've gotten her.

My 6-year-old loves this series. Graphic novels are the perfect platform to promote independent reading. They're a great transition from picture books, thanks to all the visuals, and aren't conducive to being read out loud, so they will want to read to themselves (possibly to you or with your help) versus trying to follow along while you read!

As for this series in particular, I'm not sure why she likes these, but she asks for these and My Little Pony comics more than any of the others I've gotten her.

My 9 year old son LOVES Squish. He has read everyone in the series and can't wait for a new one to be released. They are a quick fun read that have gotten him practicing his reading and illustrating his stories.

3rd graders love graphic novels and this Squish series is a very readable text for them. I have all of them in the series and students request for me to get more. They like the simple illustrations, too.
