Sram SuperCork Road Bicycle Handlebar Tape w/Sram Doubletap Shifter Hoods

These hoods fit so much batter onto the sram shifters than the generic hudz hoods. My sister had the hudz and they had a bit of a gap that we could never alleviate. This combo set was convenient since I needed bar tape and she needed hoods. Good product over all aside from the red picture for these white hoods lol. the bar tape and hoods WERE white when they came in (in case u were skeptical).

My SRAM Supercork tape and hoods provide a nice match and bling with my white Fizik Arione saddle. The cork provides some padding - but not so thick to look bulky - to afford better comfort on long rides. The tape's matte finish, however, may not be as easy to clean as with a non-cork tape, especially with grease. The SRAMs are well made, and don't look flimsy. The hoods are made of sturdy rubber compound and hopefully will hold up over the years. Unlike my previous pair of generic hoods, they tore after about a year. But I can't say much about durability in this review, since the SRAMs were installed only last month. Look to SRAM as a trusted brand in quality and function, but expect to pay more.
