Pathway to Stillness,

I have listened to and meditated to this Sri Gayatri mantra meditation from Karunamayi for several years. I have found it a powerful tool for entering into a state of stillness and peace. Others that I have played this CD for have had similiar experiences, even if they are new to meditation.
This mantra is recited slowly, making it easier to follow. After repeating the mantra several times, the mantra stops and there is only the sound of an instrument. Then the mantra repeats, again followed by the instrumentation. This process repeats throughout the length of the recording. Within a short period of time, I become increasingly relaxed, calm and peaceful. Sometimes, it is enough for me to only listen for a few minutes, then turn it off and sit quietly. In my view, you can't go wrong with meditating to this powerful mantra meditation from Karunamayi. |
