5.0 out of 5 stars An indian version of 'Scream'
The film opens with the murder of a young, inocent girl named Malini Gujral(Simone Singh) and her beua( ala Drew Barrymore in Scream ).Next we move on to Mahek our Sidney Prescott character who is in a hardware store where she picks up a ringing phone only to be harrased by the masked killer, who is dressed in a dime store clown mask. The killer calls her to tell her that...

3.0 out of 5 stars a fascinating little film
This is a fascinating little film to catch. It's an Indian production that imitates every cliche of American mad slasher films of the 1980's. All the cliches are here- a killer, in clown get-up, targeting pretty young college girls. EVERY cliche is here, even down to the bit where our heroine hears a stange noise in her deserted house, and it turns out to be a cat. But,...

3.0 out of 5 stars a fascinating little film, April 18, 2011
This is a fascinating little film to catch. It's an Indian production that imitates every cliche of American mad slasher films of the 1980's. All the cliches are here- a killer, in clown get-up, targeting pretty young college girls. EVERY cliche is here, even down to the bit where our heroine hears a stange noise in her deserted house, and it turns out to be a cat. But, what makes the film interesting are the Indian characteristics. Unlike American genre films set in colleges, the students here are VERY SERIOUS about studying. There is no sex, women are not seen as sex objects (They are seen as second class citizens here.) The biggest culutre shock is the scene at the Indian frat party. The students are thrilled over the only beverage avialable- Pepsi.

This review is from: Ssshhh... (DVD)
The killer calls her to tell her that she is his or her next victim.Luckily her freinds cheer her up by taking her to Thailand for vacation. But the fun is over when the killer shows up and starts to murder Mahek's freinds.
I suggest that you buy this film if your a Scream fan or like foreign slasher movies. The acting was great but the killer's or killer(s) identity was not a shock if you have seen Scream you know what I mean.Overall It was a great slasher movie from india.
