5.0 out of 5 stars 1 word: OUTSTANDING
Not only has Metallica writen some of he best music of our time, they are still doing it! St. Anger is so awesome. The single is an essential to any hardcore fan like me. You get some Ramones tunes and even the St Anger video! Can a person ask for more? NO!

3.0 out of 5 stars Only for the Collector
Even though St. Anger blew, I still am a fan of the band and I continue to collect their releases. The reason I bought these St. Anger singles (This disk is 1 of 2) was for the bonus tracks that are only available on this disk. These two bonus tracks, Commando and Today Your Love Tomorrow The World are two tracks that were recorded during the Ramones sessions when they...

Metallica really gave us something cool with this single. They included the tracks that they recorded as a tribute the The Ramones. It's great seeing Metallica play old punk rock because they can actually do it and it proves they can play more than metal. Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue is my favorite on the cd and it's one of my favorite Ramones songs. If you're into owning rare Metallica songs this should be added to your collectio you won't regret it.

1. St. Anger (The album version)
2. Commando
3. Today Your Love, Tomorrow the World
4. Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue
5. St. Anger (Alternate version can be used on your computer)

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Single, May 3, 2011
This review is from: St Anger Pt.2 (Audio CD)
I'm a fan of St. Anger, so what? This single features the studio version and video of St. Anger, along with some unreleased covers leftover from The Ramones tribute album. Great buy.

3.0 out of 5 stars Only for the Collector, December 9, 2003

Even though St. Anger blew, I still am a fan of the band and I continue to collect their releases. The reason I bought these St. Anger singles (This disk is 1 of 2) was for the bonus tracks that are only available on this disk. These two bonus tracks, Commando and Today Your Love Tomorrow The World are two tracks that were recorded during the Ramones sessions when they were asked to record a cover for the Ramones tribute album (53rd & 3rd won out). Commando, even though it only clocks in at a 1:48, is rather good. I liked that cover. Today Your Love, Tomorrow the World was also rather good. These two covers are nothing major. Not worth getting if your not a collector.

4.0 out of 5 stars Semi Tribute Ep, September 8, 2003
This review is from: St. Anger (Audio CD)
The songs played here were originally recorded by The Ramones. So this is kinda tribute to them. This cannot be St Anger stuff. Its part of 5 songs they recorded for the "We're A Happy Family" tribute. They only get 53rd and 3rd.

5.0 out of 5 stars amazing song, August 9, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: St Anger 2 (Audio CD)
The riff to this song is so good! Metallica just keep doing it, they just keep churning out some of the best music that's out there. The Ramones covers on the single are pretty good too. They do a [great] job on Commando.

2.0 out of 5 stars Getting Way Too Mainstream, August 8, 2003
By
This review is from: St Anger 1 (Audio CD)
I remember back when Metallica was one of the best and most powerful bands out there, now they seem to have just lost what they used to have. Most of this CD sounds like it was recorded inside of a steel drum and they just don't have that Metallica sound that they had before. Given everyone says that bands must change and all that other stuff that they say, but with Metallica, why change something that was soooo good??!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Uh OK, April 3, 2004

Metallica cleaned up and this vid shows it. Change is a part of life. I only hope Meallica listens to this 2 years from now and modifies the sound. Too much mid-bass. Anyway St. Anger is a good vid and the bounus of other sessions is priceless. Metallifan's only of course:-)

4.0 out of 5 stars this cd rocks, January 26, 2004
This review is from: St Anger 2 (Audio CD)
Metallica has yet to in my opinion make a bad cd. every one they have made i have. I also contain their vynals and they have yet to prove me wrong. I feel that this cd proves what kind of artists they are once morer how ever nothing beats master of puppets and kill em all.
