Disappointed with the translation - not a new one,

I was disappointed when I got this book. Since it is copyrighted in 2009, I assumed it would be a modern translation. It certainly is not. I felt like I was reading from Shakespeare or the King James bible. Too many Thee's and Thou's and too much clumsy English for me.
