A very interesting book, containing many photos, maps and diagrams. I personally worked at the Arsenal when it was called the Aeronautical Chart & Information Center in the 1950s and 1960s, later Defense Mapping Agency and so can vouch for the book's accuracy.

Mr. McGuire has really done his homework. His book is well written and informative. I would recommend it to any Civil War researcher. This book answered several question I had about Civil War weapons and the layout of the Arsenal.
