I love this product! I used the lotion in the past loving the results but disliking the wait time and inability to encounter water at length. The gradual tan is fabulous! After two days of use I swim, bathe and exercise with out worry. I either re-apply the St. Tropez or my normal, silicone-based, lotion. Either way my tan is still even and natural looking! The coloring is actually my natural skin tone after I bake in the sun for days. I am conscientious of sun damage and no longer bake in rays or beds. I am thankful to report encountering the sun, of any kind, is unnecessary for perfect results. This product is everything one wants from a self-tanner. The coloring is natural, subtly increases, even tones and does not disrupt the ph balance of one's skin. My skin is not oily, dry or leathery. The scent of the product is faint and pleasant. I wish I could purchase it in a larger quantity. I recommend full/even exfoliation and using gloves to apply the product.

This lotion is amazing as both a moisturizer and a subtle tanner--- it leaves my skin lusciously soft with the perfect glow. I use it year round!

As I get older I am always looking for ways to be more healthy. I refuse to lay in the tanning bed, but could never find that amazing tanning lotion I longed for. St.Tropez is what I have always wanted in a tanning lotion. Gradual results, nice smell, not oily, sensitive on skin, no streaking! I won't buy anything else now!

I have used this daily moisturizer for years now. It gives my fair skin a a natural glow and doesn't have that weird self tanning smell.

I was so excited to try the St.Tropez Gradual Tan lotion.I figured I could use it as a top up to the the bronzing mousse. Yes, it did give me a touch of even, sun kissed color. I have no complaint about that. Yes it left my skin feeling moisturized and soft. No complaints about that. No, I did not smell even a whif of the dreaded self tanner smell. Yay for that! Unfortunately, the perfume fragrance of the lotion, while not unpleasant a smell, is so strong my husband walked into the room and hour and a half after I had put it on and said "What the heck is that smell?!". The fragrance is so strong I could still clearly smell it more than twelve hours later. After I showered it off in the morning I had the choice of putting more of it on or using the slightly more complicated to put on bronzing mousse before I went to work. I ended up choosing the bronzing mousse due to it's almost total lack of smell. If they can do that with the bronzing mousse, which would have far more of the tanning chemical in it, why on earth can't they make a daily moisturizer that doesn't only complete void out my perfume but can smell up an entire room so strongly that I am afraid to wear it to my office.

The order was what I wanted at a good price but the lotion is too gradual - and I'm very pale and only like a little bit of color. After a few days of using it I became impatient and just used regular self tanner (which I LOVE their mousse)

The nice thing about this product is that it is a gradual process but not one that takes too long. With that it creates a nice real looking tan especially after being in the sun to keep your tan going. It doesn't go on heavy, look orange, or stain your clothes. I think the smell is nice also. I use it at night when i go to bed them wash it off in the morning shower.

I am seriously pale. I burn thinking about going out in the sun. And even when I do go out in the sun, all I do is burn usually. Except on my lower legs. For some reason, I can not get any kind of color on my legs, not even a burn if I tried. Anyways, I have always been self-conscious of my legs the older I get, as now the veins are showing more etc. And let's face it - everyone looks better with a little glow. I've had skin cancer, so I'm not a supporter of real tanning sun, so I stick to the fake tanners. I'm pretty sure that I've tried them all. I've broke out from hives from one, turned an oompa loompa orange multiple times, and have spent way, way too much money I care to remember on trying to get my ghost like complexion to look semi-attractive. Anyways, after all the trial and error, I stick to gradual tanners - it's easier for me, kind of fool proof application, and if it looks too orange, I'll know early on, and can stop it if I don't like it.

That being said, St. Tropez has been my saviour. My husband actually told me that he no longer feels that I could live in the dark depths of the ocean and survive anymore.

I did the exfoliating routine, put it on, and didn't notice much on the first application. However, I did notice that I did not stink like the sunless tanner. Look, I don't find the St. Tropez scent particularly appealing but it is 500% better than smelling like the old tanning lotion. I take a shower before I go to sleep, and use this tanning lotion just like I would use any other lotion. BUT, after regular use - about 3 days, it looks really nice! I'm not dark - that would look pretty stupid considering how pale I am. But, I do look sun-kissed, and feel like I look really good and am not going to blind someone when I step out in the sun. I use it almost every night...just because I really like the color it gives - looks really natural. Some say it's expensive - and I agree. But it works and smells a million times better than Jergans or any of the drugstore brands, so I will pay for it.

Love it. Goes on like any other body or hand lotion. You can't mes it up! And you get a beautiful sunkissed color. No mess on hands, etcetera.
