Do this: Pull the laundry you want to give the "dry-cleaner" starch treatment out of the washer. In a bucket (I use the sink) mix starch and water as directed on the bottle. I go with a 50/50 water to starch ratio. Your clothes will still be wet from the laundry, but dip everything in your starch/water mix until completely soaked. Wring everything out as much as you can, and then place in the dryer. Dry until 95% complete and take straight to the steam iron.

This method produces BETTER than any Dry Cleaner I have ever been to. The 50/50 ratio will give your work shirts HEAVY starch. Let me put it this way... your collar and cuffs will be like stiff card-stock. Play with the mix ratio until you find the stiffness you like.

With one pass of a steam iron and all wrinkles dissapear and leave the crisp look you are looking for!

I like this product because I can make different strengths of the starch, save money and I don't have to use aerosol spray cans that are bad for the environment.

This is perfect for one who loves a crisp starched shirt. It takes the guess work out of making starch, hoping for the right texture and omigoodness! having the shirt stand alone. Perfect starching each time.

I always use sta-flo because it gets material so stiff. I use a lot of it because I'm a quilter and piecer and have to have really rigid fabric to work with. Yep, it's the same stuff our mother's and grandmother's used; still works today. I got a great deal on it through Amazon and bought gallons and gallons.

I do a lot of quilting and this is wonderful for getting the wrinkles out. Just add it to some water in a spray bottle and start to work. We also made some slime in an art class with this and it worked great. It was so much fun. Great price for all that you get.

I had a bottle of this for years and finally tried it for ironing. I mixed it with water per the directions in a high quality spray bottle I got at the hardware store. I was ah-mazed! I will never use the stuff in a can again! Not even the non-aerosol, expensive Oxford and Wells brand that I had tried, liked better but didn't care much for the scent or the cheap spray bottle. I thought this smelled very fresh and light, went on smoothly and evenly due to the high quality spray bottle I used, and cost pennies to make! I went to several stores in my area, no one had it. The craft store lady told me to try mixing my own with cornstarch. That's ok but I liked this far better. The only place I could find it was Walmart and the closest one to where I live is like 15 miles away but worth it. It was almost half the cost as this but if I hadn't found it, I would have ordered it from Amazon. It is still far, far less expensive than aerosol cans, smells nicer, can be mixed the the exact strength you want, and makes fabric feel so smooth, so crisp, so luscious against your skin! And it means I don't feel guilty ironing and starching my sheets because it takes so much starch! If you like to iron, or if you have to iron, this is the way to go!
