SMALL BUT BUILT LIKE A BRICK S HOUSE - EVEN THOUGH IT'S SMALL YOU'LL USE IT MUCH MORE THAN YOU THOUGHT.

I bought this level thinking the magnets would be on the bottom. It's not. The magnet is on the side. There is a little ridge on the side of the level so you can stick it on, for instance, mud rings on electrical boxes. If I had known this I would not have gotten it.

This is a "must Have" if you work in building trades like I do (I'm a Plumber) and need a short level to use on short areas in between fittings on pipe runs or just need a handy small level.
Stabila quality is unsurpassed! I would highly recommend!

I didn't ever expect to review a pocket level I got for straightening all the pictures in the house, but here I am. And that's exactly what I got the level for. We were about to renovate the house, and that meant painting as well, and painting meant taking down about 60 photos and paintings. As an amateur photographer, I have 30 of my "best" ("best" changes with seasons and my moods and sometimes my expertise) shots of bugs, butterflies, bees, badgers, etc. hanging in my office, and I just knew this was going to be a problem. (Take pictures of your pictures before you take them down.)

Well, not only did this pocket level make leveling a snap, it also helped to level the refrigerator thanks to the magnetic sides, it helped me put up a door knocker, and even level a door or two. And, don't give short shrift to the fact that it's a bright yellow. I lost it a few times and, short of having it glow in the dark, a bright yellow was the best thing for spotting where I left it last.

It's a great tool that's easy to carry and hard to lose ... unless your spouse picks it up without telling you. Ratcherfratcherratch.

Quality construction with a decent magnet on the back.

If you level smaller ferrous metal plates or pipes, in a small space and need both hands, this is your unit.

If you have a tool belt, this should be in it at all times. It is amazing how often this little level can do the job without having to go to the workshop to grab a torpedo or larger level.
