The Stabila Contractor's Level has a rugged, easy-to-grip 24-inch contoured box beam frame and is ideal for framing, trim carpentry, and tile applications. This level uses a patented epoxy system to lock the vials into the frame and keep them permanently calibrated; the 3 included acrylic vials (1 horizontal and 2 vertical) with internal spring steel hairline indicators are guaranteed to never break, leak, or fog for life-long reading accuracy. This level is built with yellow electrostatic epoxy coating for high-visibility and resistance to mortar adherence and corrosion; it is easy to clean and entirely waterproof. I am a Trim Carpenter with over forty years in the trade. I have had several Stabila levels. Although Stabila will repair or replace a bad level you have to pay the shipping. I've had three Stabila levels go bad. When I buy a quality tool and pay a high price. I execpt the tool to preform as advertised. With Stabila I never knew how long the level would be good. They are prone to warping. On a job site a tool has to take it's bumps and preform as it should. Stabila doesn't.

I'm not a contractor or a carpenter, but I like having tools around the house that are built the way they should be. This is an exceptional level for the price. You get box beam construction, a milled edge, solid block acrylic vials with great viewing angles, and a great warranty from Stabila (all for the price of a decent "heavy duty" I-beam at your local home improvement store). This is the best deal on a quality level I've found anywhere. My only complaint was Amazon's subpar method of packing it (whole lot of packing doing very little). Of course, it would've taken a hell of a lot to damage this thing!
