Stabila = precision.

I am a builder and I have used approximately 6-8 different brands of level. They have all eventually lost their trueness, except for the Stabila's. They may go eventually but they last a long time.
The simple test I use to tell if the level is bad is to put it on a relatively flat horizontal surface, read the level, then rotate the level 180 degrees and read it again. If it doesn't read exactly the same, it's off.

I love my levels. The smaller is not truly 16 inches, so be careful if that is what you are wanting for measuring between studs. But to be honest, these things are great and so accurate. I used mine for remodeling my kitchen and installing new cabinets. I now turn to them whenever I need a straight line or to ensure what I am working on is spot on level. I am not disappointed at all!

I heard Stabilas were getting cheap and flimsy. I heard wrong. Still the same high quality you'd expect from Stabila.

I think the title says it all. This was the cheapest I could find these levels, so I'm happy!

I received this set as a gift and it shows the typical Stablia accuracy and excellence. I don't believe there are many equals out there to the company's levels.

I will admit I thought the 16" level would be kind of a waste but have used it a lot already. I find myself reaching for it now to take on tasks I used to use my torpedo level for. However, the extra 4" of length really are useful and helpful.

I highly recommend this set for whatever projects you have--get it and you will be happy.

Stabila levels are the best. No other level comes close. German craftsmanship at it's best. I use these levels for fine stair work. Go buy one right now. The 78" & 32" Jamer set is a must have for hanging 8' doors.
