I had my old level for many years & it was time to upgrade. I am very happy with the Stabila I ordered. A quality tool for sure!

very good levels to ad to my tools . It is on the money.I am a trim carpenter so being on the money is very important

For me, being level is not an approximate kind of thing. Either it is level or it's not. My tool arsenal has always included at least two generic, low priced, wood levels of the same length - one to check the accuracy of the other. I was never quite sure of true level or plumb, and I knew I needed a reliable, precise tool that would remove the question mark.

Not long ago, after viewing an episode of DYI Network's popular program, Cool Tools, I believed I had finally found the Holy Grail of levels - Stabila. The show visited the Stabila manufacturing facility in Illinois. There I saw Stabila's impeccable German engineering, exacting manufacturing standards, and their demanding quality control procedures. I soon purchased my first Stabila level - a 48" beauty. And after using it, I knew I would purchase more. So I added the 24" and 10" torpedo models. I continue to be amazed at the manufactured excellence of Stabila levels. I will soon add the 16" and 32" levels to complete my collection, with a five-pocket Stabila case to house them all. The quality of these levels ensures that they are tools to be handed down like precious family heirlooms, which is indicative of the quality and durability of the Stabila product.

I am working with tile and this tool is a must to have for me. Very happy that I've bought it. Great quality. I am also planning on buying 4ft Stabila level.

This has to be one of the best made levels I have ever seen. This level set is much nicer than any of the made in china junk you see at the local big box stores. The vials are very clear and easy to read from almost any angle. All the machining is very precise and the over all construction is outstanding. I checked this against a digital level in the shop and it is spot on. As others have said the packaging from Amazon is weak. Simply put this level is a precise work of art and when I need a longer masonry level I plan on buying a Stabila.

I recently bought this set since I had a small bubble level on a square and a long 4 foot level, this pair fit right in between and work great for putting up closet shelving. The 24 inch level has nice rubber ends and rubberized built-in handles. This made it easy to maneuver inside the closet and the rubberized ends made it easy for me not to ding up the inside of the closet as I was moving around. The smooth top and bottom was convenient for sliding along shelves or resting a bracket on when checking to see if I was level. I would recommend this set to a friend.
