A page turner,
This review is from: Stability Theory and Its Applications to Structural Mechanics (Dover Civil and Mechanical Engineering) (Paperback)
It has basic concepts in stability. Mostly linear stability but does have topics in nonlinear stability. I got it as a reference for a class I teach and for example problems and have use a couple of its chapters. I do not think it is a strong first text though.
