Perfection! I am an artist and have used many pens and markers, but when I received these for Christmas, I wrote a love note to them using every lovely color in the pack! They write smoothly & crisply every time WITHOUT BLEEDING THROUGH THE PAPER and have a TRUE ultra fine point. Even after I left the cap off of one of them for 24 hrs., it worked without skipping a beat! How is that possible? Light and comfortable to hold if you're writing for long periods of time and longer and more slender than most marker pens. They're also angled (octagonal?) which is different. The case is cool, too, keeping them secure enough not to fall out, but if I want to, I can pull a marker out and put it back without unfurling the whole thing. I love Micron pens, but I must admit, these seem a little sturdier. I'm buying another set so I have one for work and one for home (artwork and note-taking). These would make a great gift for a teacher or an artsy/creative person. Yes, I think I need a new job as a Stabilo spokesperson!

I just recieved these pens today. I love the felt tip pens because they write smooth and even. (I mostly use the pens for taking notes in college and journaling for scrpabooks.) I have tried the Papermate Liquid Expreso, Papermate Flair, Staedtler Triplus Fineliner, Sharpie Pens, Extra Fine Sharpies, and Extra Fine Bic Mark-its. The papermate Expreso to me was worthless - I got the 8 color pack and only 2 of the colors were dark enough for writing. I loved the papermate Flair for sometime, but they seemed to dry out fast and the tips weren't as durable - they would deform after several uses. The triplus Fineliner writes nice; however, the shape of the barrel would give me writers cramp. Sharpie pens were ok for a quick note, but they seemed inconsistent and almost rigid when writing because the tip was so hard (esp. if you really angle the pen when you write - they wouldn't work). I fell in love with the big barreled extra fine sharpie and big mark-its, but they bleed through the paper horribly and give off terrible odors. I don't see Sharpie or Bic producing something exactly like the permanent marker packaging without odor and bleeding.

Anyway, I decided to get these and I am planning on using them next semester. So far, I think these will be the winners! I decided to purchase these because every review was a 5 star review. I did a little writing with them and they slightly soak through the paper (but so did the Triplus)just enough to leave little dots. I love the roll case design, and I love the fact that there is a zipper compartment (the little black bar on the inside of the roll) so you can add more pens - I think I will buy a couple duplicate colors (black, blue, green, red) and put them in there.

These pens are really amazing. They write like those fancy Triplus Fineliner pens but are less than half the price! Like previous reviewers mentioned, the ink doesn't bleed entirely through paper, but you can still see some dots and lines on the other side of the paper. They're really skinny but don't slip through my fingers because of the angular-shaped sides (as if you're holding a pencil). All the colors are beautiful and work amazingly well - none of them are dried up or scratchy. The colors in this particular 25-pen set are: yellow, orange, red, maroon, peach, magenta, mauve, lavender, purple, midnight blue, dark blue, blue, turquoise, teal, cyan, dark green, green, light green, avocado green, forest green, brown, tan, black, gray, and light gray. The roll-up case is awesome and keeps my pens organized for my OCD self. I love these pens and am so glad to have them in my life!

I heard a lot about these pens, so I finally decided to buy some and I absolutely love them! They are very bright, true to the color that is seen on their caps. I really like the pencil-esque design, it makes them comfortable to hold (which is important to me because I use them for taking lecture notes in school). The have a nice fine tip, the pens are also very thin (which I like). They are kind of like fine-tip Sharpies, but brighter, no odor, and not as much bleeding through paper.
The roll-up pen case is really nice too; it holds all of the pens, and has a little pocket for small things (like erasers or maybe tiny index cards). The case uses a Velcro strap, making it really sturdy. I can even hold the case upside down and the pens do not fall out. Plus I can grab a pen out of it even when it is rolled-up, which is good for when I'm out and about. =) To top it off, they shipped very quickly and sooner than expected (ordered Friday, arrived Monday). Great deal, highly recommend!

I used to have these when I was little and was thrilled to find them online. They are the best pens I've ever had. They feel liquid-y but don't really bleed through most papers. They are fun to use on artsy things as well as for school. I've searched for years for something that even comes close to the awesomeness of these pens with no success so I think everyone should own them.

I didn't actually purchase these on Amazon, but at JoAnn Fabrics with a 50% off coupon, so the set only ended up costing me about $12, which makes it an even better deal! Anyway, I've recently gotten really into mixed media painting with a lot of ink. I discovered "Le Pen" ultra fine tip pens, which are beautiful and work extremely well, but it's really difficult to obtain a full set of colors without spending a fortune. I think what sealed the deal for me on this Stablio set was the surprisingly well-constructed roll up pouch that seems like it will endure quite a bit of abuse, while giving me an easy, portable, organized way to carry my favorite set of pens wherever I go. I was briefly torn between the plastic case with 20 pens, and this roll-up case with 25 pens. To me, more is always better, and seeing the quality of the included pouch in person clinched it. I would recommend this to anyone who loves to have that rainbow of colors with you wherever you go. Worth every penny, but most major craft stores carry this item, so if you can get a half off coupon I would recommend going that route to save a few extra dollars. I can safely say I haven't found a better set of pens that has everything I need as much as this one. My only initial hesitation with them is the fact that they look a little juvenile by comparison to the Le Pens by Marvy Uchida. For example: Uchida Le Pen blueI coveted initially, but that's something I got over pretty quickly.
