This show has given me the motivation to get up every morning to do what I need to do to loose weight , I am 50 lbs over weight, nothing compare to their but it is still uncomfortable to do something or wear surtain clothes, SO THUMBS UP for this show!!! I will buy the season 1, to keep me in check.

Recommend for motivation, insight, ideas. Great addition to my library. The kind of show that makes you make changes, and see through other people's stories winning and losing strategies

What I enjoyed most about this show is they treat the whole person. They address the emotional side of weight gain and weight loss.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching Ronnie's sheer determination and motivation dropping half his weight. I identified with Tom as well: he showed me just how much "living" I have been missing out on. I have watched the episode of Ronnie and Tom repeatedly and they both intensely motivate me to keep working at the gym. They have picked me up when I have needed it and I am grateful. Thank you Amazon for putting this series on Prime.

I only wish there were more seasons!

This one isn't bad but by no means the best. I preferred the episodes at the Texas facility. The format and the trainers were better.

I thought it was a great show that motivates a person to do something about their weight. I actually watched an episode a day while walking on the treadmill! It gave me the motivation to keep going even when I didn't feel like it because if these guys and gals can do it, then I can too!

I enjoy cheering all these individuals on as they try to make permanent healthy changes to their lives and maybe even love themselves for the very first time in their lives. Don't get me wrong, I'm not talking about the self-esteem Oprah love yourself here...I'm talking about many of these people realizing deep down that they are worth the time and effort AND that they can be happy and that's ok... I find it interesting that in many of the most severe cases especially, moving away from family and out on one's own has such a positive impact. They still love their families, but they need to have their own life and take better care of themselves and too many times family members cause the most stress and enable way too much. Especially in American culture, food is a major social event. People can't even seem to get together anymore unless it is surrounded by food. Even churches are very guilty of this practice. We can be social people and not have to be eating something every minute. But like everything, changes in the way our culture views food (fuel instead of comfort and love) is slow in coming, but I applaud all these individuals out there who are trying to make a difference---and I LOVE how so many of those who have succeeded are then helping others---what a blessing!!! My only wish is that there would be more seasons of this show. I think the trainers/life coaches are great and very supportive and can push these people to do their best without degrading them. My favorite was Sharon and Ashley---it was the first episode I watched and I am glad I did. May God bless all these people on their journeys to help not only themselves, but others around them. And by being on this show, I think they have positively impacted more people than they can know in this lifetime... I for one thank them for their candid and revealing experiences and hope all of them succeed spiritually, mentally and physically...God Bless them and their families' journeys...
