5.0 out of 5 stars A Simple and Inexpensive Delight.
What a simple toy! At first I couldn't visualize how a baby (my first) could find a set of stacking cups interesting and enjoyable. Well, at first all he did was scatter them about. Then he started banging things with them. Then he started holding them in his hands and walking around with them as if he had hooves. Finally, he started to study them and spent a lot of time...

3.0 out of 5 stars Small cups
The smallest cup is SMALL - maybe an inch in diameter. The colors are different than the ones in the picture and I would have preferred that the colors went in order of the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, etc) but that's my own OCD. I will look for bigger cups to make stacking easier.

What a simple toy! At first I couldn't visualize how a baby (my first) could find a set of stacking cups interesting and enjoyable. Well, at first all he did was scatter them about. Then he started banging things with them. Then he started holding them in his hands and walking around with them as if he had hooves. Finally, he started to study them and spent a lot of time at this activity.

At the present time, our boy is 15 months old. Now he takes the stack apart, arranges the cups on a flat place, goes back to get them and put them back together in the proper order. I sometimes mix them up on his flat place and turn a few upside down. He immediately goes to the pile and sorts them out in the proper orientation and order and rebuilds the stack. Then he smiles at his accomplishment. It's rather amazing.

He seems to find the cups endlessly fascinating. When he's whiny or grumpy, I give him the stack and that immediately grabs his attention. We take them everywhere. In the bath. In the car. It's a simple and inexpensive delight.

This is one of my daughter's favorite toys.
They are very simple, inexpensive, and we take them everywhere. They fit easily in the diaper bag.
She loves to bang them together and she also likes to hear how her voices changes when she talks in the larger ones.
This was one of her first toys and started playing with them at 6 months. She is 10 months now and enjoys putting them inside of each other. She also likes to use them as a teether.

Stacking cups are a favorite with almost all children. These are smaller than I thought they would be but are still good. Additionally, they all have holes in the bottom so they can be played with in the bathtub but not hold water. I'm very happy with my purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great simple toy, April 11, 2010

My 1 year old loves these "stackers," He plays with them each and every day for long periods. He nests them inside one another and inside out and stacked up. He likes to clank them together as well. They are BPA free and the colors (although not as pictured) are nice and bright. These are fabulous, I have 4 kids and I have purchased a few sets now. My original set from the 90's still looks like new. I put mine in the dishwasher on the top rack and they clean up very well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Must-have, December 2, 2009
This review is from: Stack & Count Cups - 8 pack (Baby Product)
We got these cups for our now-11 month old when he was about 7 months and they instantly became his favorite toy. They exert an odd, Svengali-like power over him: if he sees them, he'll reach for them in preference to pretty much any other toy, no matter how many tunes, flashing lights or levers it may have. They're also cheap and easy to throw in a travel bag. He's too small to stack them but loves to fish them out of each other, bang them together, and knock them over when we stack them. The holes in the bottom also make them interesting in the bath: he enjoys watching the water trickle out in multiple streams. I can't overstate, or for that matter explain, the appeal of this toy.

5.0 out of 5 stars safe toy - good price, March 14, 2011
This review is from: Stack & Count Cups - 8 pack (Baby Product)
I wanted to buy the Green Sprouts stacking cups but Amazon offered them w/ free shipping one day and then the next it would be sold by a different vendor without the free shipping. When I saw these stacking cups in the baby store, I put them on my registry instead because they were made w/ safer plastic like the Green Sprouts toys.

The label on the learning curve stackers and other products indicate: no PVC, no bpa, and no Phthalates....it's important to me that we have as many safe toys as possible for our baby so I was thrilled to find these.

I like this stacking toy because the cups fit nicely in one another and have enough of an edge that they stack nicely on top of one another. They also have tiny holes in the bottom of the cups - each in a different shape as well as numbers on the bottom too.

Our daughter is 6 1/2 months old and I put a few of the cups out on the blanket for her to clutch and play with during belly time as well as other toys. Last night she had a cup in each hand and was waving them around. I know she'll like to play with them as she gets older and was glad she already showed an interest in them at this time too.

We purchased these for our 16-month old toddlers. I don't know why we waited so long. For months, every time they played with these at their Grandparent's house or Aunt's and Uncle's house, this was always the first toy they gravitated towards. Anyway, here's my likes and dislikes:
Likes-
* easy to stack cups inside one another
* need to stack cups in exact descending order in order to create a tower (if you don't stack the number 7 cup, the number 6 cup will not sit correctly on the 8)
* it's top rack dishwasher safe! Woo hoo- so if you have kids like mine, they pretend they are drinking out of the cups, you don't have to be hand washing the cups all of the time
* develops concentration and fine motor skills

Recommendations/Wish List-
* I wish they would have chosen primary and secondary colors, and ordered the cups according to the color wheel
* I find it odd that they didn't include ten cups, there are only eight in the set

I was at at a play group that had cups like this and my 8 mo old daughter loved them to play and knock down the stack. The group leader said they were quite a few years old but I was determined to find them. These cups are much smaller than expected and they don't have a very big "lip" on them therfore they don't stack very well. They do have holes in them to drain well when you wash them. My daughter does enjoy them but I think she would more if they stacked better.

These colorful stackable cups sold & shipped quickly by Tomo are great for a 1 yr. old. On the bottom of each cup there are also holes with the corresponding number embossed in the middle for future learning while playing. Our little grandchild enjoyed the game of stacking these cute cups. Easy for little hand to manuever.
