This gun safe provides me with all the safe storage space I need. The safe appears very soundly made and fits in my storage closet with room to spare. A word or two of caution: I own two un-scoped shotguns and Six scoped weapons. They fit comfortably (16 gun mode) without worrying to much about dinging things up when I remove/replace one of them. My good friend owns a dozen weapons and stores his in a 36 gun safe. I feel anyone concerned about the finish on their prized weapons/scopes will be much pleased if they buy a safe rated for at least twice their inventory.
