This review is from: Stack and Grow Terracotta Planter with 20 Planting Pockets (Lawn & Patio)
My Stack and Grow "Terracotta" Planter arrived today, and I was truly disappointed. What I got was four nondescript plastic trays with shallow cups, instead of the beautiful ceramic patio garden that I had envisioned.
I've looked over the description, and haven't found any reference to plastic, and, it's clear that "terracotta" is used to mean the COLOR of the light-weight plastic. In my opinion, this is overpriced for the quality. I'll keep it, since I'm hoping that any plants I use in it will spill over the sides and hide the inferiority of the planter. All the same, I feel like I was deceived by the description of this product.

The first year it looked OK.....I left it out....it is ugly ugly ugly now.....the color fades and it really does look plastic now. There are better pots for this price.

Great Product - Couldn't Disagree More with Previous Review,

I have really enjoyed this product. It is versatile and works well in small spaces. There are 16 different pots with a large adjustable pot in the middle. The possibilities are limitless!! The product is easy to assemble and works great indoors and outdoors. The plastic is both sturdy and durable and the color is very decorative. If you are a plant and garden lover, you will love this product.

i read the other review of it being a cheap toy. i am impressed by the quality of plastic used and the ease of putting it together. no forcing. went to sam's club, i looked at a similar product. it was slightly cheaper but you can feel the difference in the sturdiness of the plastics.
i have a broken right wrist and put this together with my left hand. i am right handed.

this planter works very well for small herbs and flowers and is small enough to store away for the winter

Too small and poor watering,
This review is from: Stack and Grow Terracotta Planter with 20 Planting Pockets (Lawn & Patio)
The individual holders are very small as the middle bows out into them. I tried to use this as an herb garden but the plants could not get big enough to be very usable. Perhaps if you are looking for a flower pot, it would work with trailing flowers. The self-watering feature relies on the soil to transport the water up. The is no separate wicking and does not work very well.

I really love this planter! I live in an apartment so my growing space is very limited- I have maybe a couple feet outside my door. It was so easy to put together, I think I'll get another one! Now if only my plants would arrive.

Awesome product, easy to put together, sturdy and a great price ($41). My thoughts on the reviews... Yes, they are plastic but they don't look bad at all. Besides, if they were ceramic they would be very heavy maybe even akward to move even with the wheels. Last, I have no idea what they will look like after a good winter (I live in Minnesota so I bring all of my stuff in the garage during the winter). I have no complaints and think it is a great product.
