Product Description

From the maker of the acclaimed Puzzingo Toddler Educational Puzzle comes a brand new puzzling adventure! Join Stack, a beaver who loves to build puzzles, to piece together his city. As your kid plays the game, he or she will also be learning about everything that goes into museum, fire truck, school, buses and a whole lot more!

Stack N Puzzles is a puzzle adventure game designed for young children. Children play with Stack the Beaver through playing series of fun, educational, interactive puzzles. The puzzles have over a hundred pieces that bring your child into Stack’s world – with museums, TRex, Fire Engine, Fire Truck, School, and much more. As children play the games, they learn what different objects are and what they sound like. The best part is, as your kid finishes putting together the city, he or she can then interact and play with Stack’s city – from driving the fire engine to put out fire, to capturing the T Rex. There is plenty of excitement and learning for young kids.

Delight your children and encourage them to touch and explore everything in the 100% interactive illustrations.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Child Appeal May 18, 2012
What We Liked:

Once my children discovered Stack N' Puzzles on one of our iPads they were clamoring for their own turns to help Stack rebuild his town. The child appeal is unbeatable, and the helpful hints for children make the silhouette-style puzzles easy for even tiny children to complete.

The inclusion of the written names of each object beneath the puzzle pieces adds some gentle reinforcement for the connecting of printed words to common, high-interest objects. With each object saying its name when tapped - whether in the puzzle tray or after it is placed into the puzzle background - this app can also serve as a tool for early language development.

What We Didn't Like:

The speed and frequency with which the dinosaur skeleton escapes and the reoccurring fire rate can be pretty intense and might be overwhelming for some children.

Overall:

Stack N' Puzzles is not only hugely fun with its interactive completed vehicle puzzles and reconstructed town puzzle, but also provides support for first-words style early language development with the English language option turned on. The repeat play value of this app has brought my little ones back to this app again and again.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good once through January 16, 2013

My 4-yr-old son loved it the first time around. Then he got bored with it. The dinosaur kept escaping and the firetruck got stuck rescuing the fire station from burning down. So we gave up on it.

3.0 out of 5 stars failed to capture attention of 3 yr old and 5 yr old January 13, 2013
Verified Purchase
I can see what they were trying to do with this app but I think ultimatly fails to do so. I let my 4 yr old try this and she got bored within minutes. Even when I was there helping understand how to play etc... same thing for 5 yr old, got very bored and put phone down. I think the game needs more of a point or more content/more to do to keep a childs attention

3.0 out of 5 stars Wasn't what we were looking for February 2, 2013

This game is cute for kids, but it was a little too easy for my 4 year old. After she finished the game, the only thing left to do was go and put out fires, collect the T-Rex and take the kids to the museum. She was bored after the third round of that.

This is an excellent app for kids to develop cognitive and motor skills. Also helps in memory as they play repeatedly. I see my kids solves the puzzle much faster than the first time as they remember it from previous play.

I dont have kids so i cant comment about that. But i found the game to be a quick and simple match to the shadow/cut out game.

The graphics are nicely done, sound is pretry good too. My mom works at a preschool so i will tell her about this FAOTD for her kids to play.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is awesome! January 13, 2013

You don't see apps like this every day. This is completely geared for little kids, and the makes do a good job of putting this together in an entertaining package. The graphics are cute, but the sound is beyond amazing. As you put things into their correct places, it gives a quick sound effect with them, adding to the educational value. I even appreciate the ambient sound of kids playing in the background and having fun. If you have little kids, I'd say between 2 and 6, this could entertain and educate them for a long time.

5.0 out of 5 stars my almost 2yo loves it
My almost 2yo son loves this puzzle game. My only complaint is that the graphics aren't as sharp as this developer's space puzzle app, but my son doesn't seem to notice or care.

Let my 4 yr old play with it for a little while, but I found it kind of irritating and not very well made (graphics, gameplay, sound effects, etc.) so uninstalled. Read more
