Wood Boor,

This review is from: Stack-On LS-1402 Log Stacker (Tools & Home Improvement)
I have used the EZ stackers for many years both in my house and outside in New England weather. I burn ~ 4-5 cords of wood a winter in two stoves and a wood burning furnace.1. They are easy to use. 2. Except for building a log stacking frame yourself using scrap material this seems to be the least expensive method. 3. I recommend using pressure treated 2X4s outside. 4. Make the length 8-12'. I tried 16' once but the stack of wood was unstable. 5. I cover the wood with a tarp only in fall and winter after an extended dry spell. Covering the wood year round does not dry it as well. 6. The plastic pieces will eventually become brittle and crack, but one should get ~ 10 years out of a set

Bought several of these (I have lots of wood). This is by far the best product to use if you want to stack fire wood. I have also bought similar products from the "bargin" stores but they did not hold up well to the elements. I held out reviewing this product because I wanted to see if the "plastic" would withstand the cold winters, and they have. No cracks and fire wood is still standing. I would highly recommend this product!!! Do not buy imitation products....only buy the EZ stacker.

When I unpacked this, my first thought was "Good thing they're cheap". Well, they really work along with being cheap. They're just plastic and wiggle-waggle with no wood in the pile, but it becomes very stable with wood.Main thing I like is that you buy your own slats, at whatever length you need. I needed feet and odd inches to fit my space, and these really filled the bill.
