Product Description

WaterBrick 3.5 Gallon Stackable Water Container Kit

Portable: Easy to Carry and Secure in Cars, Boats or ATV's

30% Less Carry Weight: Our 3.5 gallon container filled with water weighs 30 pounds; 30% less carry weight than a standard 5 gallon container.

Comfortable Easy Grip Carrying Handle: Helps distribute the weight on your hand.

Easy to Secure in Transit: Cross stack to secure in a car or boat or tie down easily with a bungee cord through the designed column hole in the container.

Stackable: Securely Stacks or Grab & Go

Better than Other Containers: Standard size WaterBricks can cross stack and interlock up to 4 feet high (stacking of half bricks is not recommended unless intermingled between standard size WaterBricks). Other containers on the market claim to be stackable but many stores will tell you they are not safe as they can easily be knocked over and they can not stack more than 2 containers high.

Better than Other Bulk Storage Drums or Tanks: WaterBricks stack like bulk storage but are individually easy to move for Grab & Go taking your water where you need it. Compare WaterBrick to typical filled 55 gallon drums or tanks that are impossible to move or take with you if you are forced to leave your home during an emergency.

Customizable: To Maximize Limited Storage Space

Stack & Store Any Where, Any How You Need: Perfect for small spaces or for those that want to keep their water containers discrete; put them where other containers, drums and tanks can not, or use them to make space you did not have before (a coffee table base like in the above picture for example).

Overall, if you're able to justify the expense, I would highly recommend using these WaterBricks.

So far so good. Took this car camping and it fits neatly almost anywhere thanks to it's slim design and profile. Washed it out with some baking soda and non-chlorine peroxide based "bleach" and did not have any funky smells or tastes in the water (I had some issues with other plastic containers making the water taste like plastic). The lid seals great. A little tough when it comes time to wash it out, as the inner design makes nooks that make it hard to get all the water out. I had to keep shaking it out and leaving on a table outside on a warm day to get it all the way dried out. It took some time. I also purchased the spigot built into a separate lid. Not too happy with that, but that's a different review. All in all, I will be purchasing a second and maybe third. The seller ships USPS "Parcel Post" which can be hit and miss with shipping times (though they did send a tracking number with the shipping email).

After much research for water storage for emergencies I concluded this was the best option. You can stack them easily like legos so total number is up to you. They are durable and with their size and carry handle, you can easily tote them around as needed unlike some other larger containers.

A must for any prepper. They are modular and don't take up much room. You can use them for storing anything like water or any grain (rice, flour, wheat, cereal, etc). Perfect for bugging out or use for bugging in. I would recommend getting them in fours. That way you can stack them. These are awesome!!!

I wanted to like this, as it's a nice size, but after two full months camping with it, it's gonna go. I live in a camp trailer (I'm a campground host) and have to carry my own water and need products that are easy to use.

The handle won't stay on and is pretty flimsy.

It's hard to pour from, as you have to tip the whole thing, which isn't so easy when it's full - no pour spout.

Hard to empty the last of the water from because the center holes traps it.

It looks slick, but its functionality is poor. Get the old style with the spigot if you want happiness and peace.

I finally got around to filling mine up, and I found out I can't get them to seal properly when they are horizontal. If laid on their side, they constantly drip. I dug out my Oil filter wrench and torqued them down, and they still drip. The lids won't go tighter and they do come with a rubber seal, but I suspect the manufacturer's tolerances are to blame. Not all is lost though, I still like them and use them for emergency water storage, I just have to stand them up so they don't leak.

We had a tornado cut through our upstate vacation area a while back. We don't see that type of weather much at all and we lost power and water for several days. That taught me to be a little more prepared.

I researched water containers and bought a few of these with a spigot. I cleaned them with a little bleach and lemon juice. Filled them with filtered water, added water preserver concentrate, and now store them in the garage with the boxes they came in for covers. I can write expire dates on the boxes and they help to keep the bricks clean. The 3 1/2 gallon containers are easy to move or transport if necessary and so far no leaks.

I sent a couple of bricks to my kids and would recommend them to others. Buy in bulk from the factory cuts the cost down.

I purchased one WaterBrick (as oposed to a batch) to try out after I read a review that said the WaterBrick leaked. When I received the WaterBrick I filled it and left it on it's side in the tub to see if it would leak for me and it did. I complained (something I'm good at) and I received a call from the company the next day. They offered to do whatever was needed to make me happy (new product or refund) and then gave me some hints for using it properly.
This time I took the handle off before putting the cap on and it sealed just fine. I think that for me (I have large hands) the handle gets in the way of tightening the lid properly but if you take it off before sealing it you should be just fine.
I'm extremely happy with the customer service from WaterBrick and I really like the product (now that I know it works). It's a very heavy duty plastic of good quality that satisfies my needs very well.
I will be buying more.

Great product and you can get it direct from waterbrick.org directly for less if you get 2 or more. They last forever.
