I believe Stacker 2 is designed to assist you in your weight lost efforts, not do the work for you while you sit back and wait for the results! Just like any other drug, you can not exceed the recommeded dosages or there will be consequences. Read your vitamin bottle or a prescription, some medications have side effects just from taking them. Imagine overdosing on...

So I looked through the ingredients before buying this and realized it pretty much a caffiene pill, and caffiene pretty much has no effect on me. I'm not sure whether its because I've built a resistance to it, but I can drink 4 cups a day or no cups a day(I pretty much only drink free coffe at work) and I feel no difference.

But I thought I'd give Stacker 2 a...

Imagine overdosing on something like that!?!

You have to eat something first or you will feel light headed once it kicks in. I personally don't recommend more than two pills a day. It's all going to depend on how well it works with your body. You are supposed to exercise to use the energy the Stacker provides you.

I take it just once a day right before I go to the gym and that's the only time I take Stacker 2. Since I go early in the morning, I pull the purple half of the pill off and swallow the yellow portion with it's powder so I will feel it faster. (I put it in the back of my throat, that's some really nasty tasting stuff!!)

I find that I get a better workout with it than I do without. It seems that the more I workout, the harder I want to workout and I can do more repititions and higher weights. I feel great all day and sleep well because I've been really active.

If I don't workout and I take Stacker, I find that I can't really concentrate at work because I want to do a million things at once. It makes my hands shake a little bit, I'm guessing that's the caffeine. I've taken it before a night workout and I could not sleep until about 3 in the morning. I was miserable! Now I never take it after 4pm, so I can get a good night's rest.

Stacker does curb my appetite a little, which I don't mind at all. It also increases my sex drive and extends the time it takes for me to reach climax, which I don't mind either!

Overall, I feel Stacker 2 is safe, when used properly according to your body's instructions.

But I thought I'd give Stacker 2 a try anyway.I started slow, with one a day with breakfast and didn't notice anything. I upped it to two, one with breakfast and one before I hit the gym (usually around 5pm)and didn't notice any energy gain but did notice a mild laxative effect. Which I suppose isn't such a bad thing.

The trouble started when I started doing three like the directions said. The first two days there was nothing but by the third day I was waking up with mild headaches, which is a sure sign of caffiene addiction. I wasn't too worried until I noticed that after I took a pill and before the headache faded my vision would blur a little. I'd have to concentrate to focus. Now that worried me. So now I'm trying to wean myself off the pills.

And how much weight did I lose? 0. For the 4 1/2 weeks I've been taking stacker 2 I've been basically hovering around 220 (my ideal weight is 194 but I'd settle for 200).

I guess its back to my original plan of upping my cardio.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great with Proper Useage, December 5, 2005
I am going to buy this product, but back home in Scotland I used the same product called Stack II and it was great, I took 2 pills before I worked out and I always got a great workout and noticed the difference. My Personal Trainer suggested these to me and I would recommend them to anybody who works out, but people who don't I wouldn't take them! It helps you focus more when working out! I think they are great

5.0 out of 5 stars You'll heat your own home!, February 2, 2006
Fellow lean body lusters: I've been on the "body transformation" kick for 2 years now. I've tried every fat burner out there and I can say that this formula is the best there is. It's amazing - heat all over the spine, shoulders, and middle back from BAT thermogenesis! You don't need Ephedra or Ephedrine. This stack I've found is hotter than the ECA Stack. You'll heat your home on it! ;o) Also, it's an amazing appetite suppressent - sometimes I forget to eat lunch and dinner!!

Also, please don't take me the wrong way: I find this "stack" only ADDS TOO an already existing consistent fat loss diet and exercise routine (cardio + weights 3-4 days per week and a low-carb "Protein Power" style diet works wonders: low-carb = 10-15% of total calories). Stacker2 merely "facilitates" fat loss, in my opinion, dramatically reducing appetite and increasing energy in the face of lower carb and calorie intake.

Enjoy!

3.0 out of 5 stars Overexagerating as usual, October 22, 2005
People see Stackers 2 as a gimmic. In the commercial it says that it will only work with diet and exercise. People take it and think it's suppose to work without hard work. It never tells you that. You still have to eat healthy and you still have to exercise, it's just giving you a boost. I have taken Stackers 2 and it worked fine. I lost 40lbs using the pills, not so special diet and exercise. If you don't use the energy that the pills give, of course you are going to be jittery and nervous. The energy is stuck inside you.

And about eating anything you want but in moderation. Come on, who is anyone trying to fool. It says in fine print that fat is not consider a food. Eating a greasy hamburger, no matter if it's only one, will mess the flow of the pills. Like grease would mess with your stomach. You have to eat healthy with or without the pill. No medicine has created super pills.

2.0 out of 5 stars No ephedra, no point., April 23, 2010

This review is from: Stacker 2 Ephedra Free (Health and Beauty)
So because a select few morons decided to take ephedra without following instructions (staying hydrated, for one), they died. Since the media in this country exploits death like there's no tomorrow, ephedra is now illegal here. Without the metabolism, body temperature raising effects of ephedra, all Stacker 2 is now is a glorified caffeine pill. Don't bother.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not good at all, July 1, 2004
By A Customer
I just started taking this product last week and now I'm having problems with cramps in my legs, my whole body is jittering, and I can't sleep. The whole thing with feeling energy in 45 minutes is true but I rather feel completely drained than to feel the way I do now. All in all this is not a good product to take unless your doctor say's "go for it".

4.0 out of 5 stars 36 Lbs in 3 months!, November 30, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I recently purchased this item again after having HUGE success with it a few years back. When I was a little younger I used it for 3 months, no change is diet or exercise; and yes, I lost 36 lbs! It does work. The only problem is controlling your weight when you decide to stop using it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Stopped working, May 19, 2008

When I first tried Stacker 2 it made me really hyper and it gave me a kick in the morning so I didn't need to drink coffee anymore but after about two weeks it stopped feeling like anything and I could seriously take three at a time without feeling anything. I guess that just happens with caffeine, you build a huge tolerance and it gets to the point where all it does it screw up your sleep patterns but doesn't actually give you energy.

I think Epedhra probably works better but so many people used it in an idiotic way causing it to be demonized and eventually banned in this country.

I also don't think the other ingredients in Stacker 2 do anything at all. They are just filler or placebos. Caffeine pills are much cheaper and this only works with weight loss if you combine it with a healthy diet and cardio.
