I had stopped reading awhile ago but when my Aunt asked me to go to the Harlem Book Fair with her I couldn't help but pick up a book. I ended up picking up three. I had never read anything from this author but I was told all these books went together so I started with Trife Life To Lavish then Stackin' Paper and finally this one, which I loved. I'm so happy I had them all because it was easy for me to follow with the different twist and turns. This book had me glued. Of course I was rooting for my boy Genesis and CoCo since they were both locked up. I was shocked by what Tonya did never saw that one coming but she played her role to the fullest and both Denise and Monica got what they deserved. The ending had me re-reading over and over again. That completely threw me off but I loved every second of it even though it did make me cry. I recommend these books to everybody you will not be disappointed if anything you will be left wanting more. I'm off to order the rest of Ms. King's books as I'm now a fan!

Stackin Paper II is equivalent to an urban soap opera filled with characters that are attractive, seductive, glamorous and wealthy.

The way in which Joy incorporates familiar characters from Bitch (Maya), Superstar (T-Roc) and Trife Life to Lavish (Genevieve/Nichelle) is extremely clever. It did take me a second to sort through all of the characters. Now that I've become reacquainted with them, I'm more than delighted with the outcome.

I'm quite fascinated with Talisa's father, Jeffrey. He isn't a main character in Stackin Paper II but he's powerful and eerily mysterious. I suspect (hope) he'll be a vital component when concluding the storyline.

I'm rating the book 4.5 stars due to the fact that I'm forced to wait to discover more about the lives of Genesis, Coco, Quentin and even the evil, Arnez.

In conclusion, when the author states just how much she appreciates her fans ... PLEASE BELIEVE IT. Be sure to cop Stackin Paper II.

Deja Joy King steps to the plate and hits a home run. Stackin Paper 2 is a special delivery and it does handle its business. Ms. King ties all loose ends in this the second installment of a long awaited sequel. She answers many questions, ties up loose ends, and sets the record straight...that Genesis is the man to be reckoned with. Come take this ride with Genesis as betrayal seems to follow him , the desire to love and be loved lives deep within his essence, and happiness seems to be right around the bend...but can he grasp and hold on to it...seems like love has always abandon him, but this time around will he finally find the love, harmony and bliss that he has been looking for ...in beautiful Talisha? She's faithful, loves, desires, and rides for him, but is that enough?

There are many surprises within this novel and each surprise is strategically place; right up to the ending, which is the most creative of all.

I really did enjoy, Stackin Paper 2, however you may need to read Ms. King's earlier work, which will enable you to know the cast of characters.

Kudos are in order for Ms. King.

STACKING PAPER 2 WAS SO GOOD I KNEW JOY KING WOULD NOT LET ME DOWN I'M GOING TO RUIN THE STORY FOR ANYONE JUST KNOW THE BOOK IT WORTH THE MONEY AND YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.....

Genesis is still a fugitive, CoCo's still in jail, Talisa's pregnant, and Arnez is still a conniving, slimy snake. Chanel is basically the only character that is 'supposedly' calling all the shots, she has the keys to the kingdom but does she have the true gangsta intellect to know what to do with them? Tonya is still grieving Deuce's death and is seeking answers and revenge in the midst of it all.

Stackin' Paper 2 is an astounding read and the ride ends much too soon for me. Deja focused more on secondary characters in this read and orchestrated people, plots and places magnificently. She mastered this read with a finesse that exemplifies her creative skills as she executes scenarios that fascinate as well as engrosses the readers in a world of fiction that feels so real. The storyline has an invigorating tone as you try and envision all that she describes with each scene and stimulates your memory in trying to connect all the dots to this intriguing puzzle. Love, loyalty, murder, jealousy, rivalry, deceit, treachery, and manipulation run viciously in this storyline centered around Genesis and his acquaintances. I tilt my hat and highly commend you on the spinning of your extraordinary pen! Major kudo's! Do the damn thang, I ain't mad at you! Until the next King Production, keep shining, get ya strut on!!!

In STACKIN' PAPER II by Joy King, Genesis is on the run from the Feds. In order to protect Talisa he had to leave her behind. Genesis is determined to stay free so he can seek retribution on the person or people that are responsible for murdering his best friend, Deuce.

Talisa is literally making herself sick worried about Genesis' safety. Missing him and stressing is causing a drastic weight loss in Talisa.

Meanwhile sitting in a jail cell, Coco is angry because she has been locked up for so long. The longer she sits their the angrier she becomes. She is starting to wonder who really has her back.

STACKIN' PAPER II by Joy King was a page-turner. Where the first one was somewhat predictable, She does an excellent job in weaving the characters from her previous novels. STACKIN' PAPER II has some twists that you will not see coming. It is full of sex, lies, betrayal and murder. I am taking .5 star off because the ending was abrupt and yet again leaves the reader with a cliff hanger. I am not a fan of sequels and trilogies but as long as Ms. King keeps bringing her "A" game, I will continue to read them. I recommend that you read STACKIN' PAPER first and then TRIFE LIFE 2 LAVISH before reading STACKIN' PAPER II.

It's just like reading one long soap opera book. Not to say it wasn't enjoyable, because it was entertaining. But that's about it, no real depth. I read it in four hours, maybe less. I'd like to see this all wrapped up in with a nice big bow and a big fat THE END! Like she did with Superstar, which I really really enjoyed. Oh well. Next!

I have been waiting on part 2 every since I read part 1. Let me just say I got home at 4:30 and by 7 I was finished. I could not put it down. This is every bit as good as you would expect. CoCo found out that d**k can make the most loyal person turn on you even your twin. She also knew who had her back in the end. Genesis found his way back to the love of his life and was finally able to committ his soulmate. He also learned who took the only other person he loved from him with intent to make him pay dearly. Tonya also go her thing off with one of persons responisble for taking the man she loved she got closure even if it cost her,her own life. It doesn't pay to be a gold digging slut in the end so stop being pressed if he's not really in to you. If you read part one you won't be disappointed in part two. This is only a couple of hour read cause from page one you won't be able to put it down. I am also glad the author put so many of the charcters from other stories in this one it makes it seem as you are really hearing about you know personally. Must read. I started reading Deja's books with the "Bitch" series and have been a loyal fan ever since. You will not want to put this book down, but then again all of her books are like that. i just got "Bitch, A New Beginning" yesterday and made myself take a moment to give the woman her props. Keep em coming Ms. King!!

Well I see these stories are starting to come full circle.I enjoyed reading this book. I see how all the characters are coming into play. Sad that Talisa ending came when she was most happy. I guess Arnez did get to her. These books do tell a lot of truth about friendship and enemies. cause you never know who will stab you in the back. Being your best friend or your twin sister. Stay true to oneself. And you will always have a best friend in you.. This was a really good read.. Keep them coming Ms Joy
