4.0 out of 5 stars apexpapa
I got this horn for my 16 year old grandchild after he commented about one he saw at the hockey stadium. He takes it out every once in a while and aggravates those within hearing distance tho he has not taken it to the stadium. We all get to share in the fun by hearing his antics.

1.0 out of 5 stars This thing is crap!
I bought 3 of these. They are cheap, imitation vuvuzelas. They are 2-piece cheap plastic and are basically a funnel, amplifying any noise you put into it. Yes, you can attempt to make the same noise in it, but it is not a vuvuzela! I have used a Souht African vuvuzela. I think this needs to either not say "vuvuzela," or maybe say "imitation" or "replica" something...

I saw them and heard them at World Cup games. Great around the house for drowning out whining, nagging, boring stories, etc. Requires absolutely no music ability.

Awesome piece of plastic that does the job for making tons of noise! Collapsible feature makes it easy to carry and travel with to sporting events and parades. Product delivered in a timely fashion.

Ordered this for my son who had just seen the horn during the World Cup playoffs-he had to have one! He has loved it and carries it with him to ball games and around our neighborhood. I can follow the sound and know exactly where he is. It is loud and fun!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Noise Maker!, April 25, 2011

The vuvuzela is great for sporting events or general frivolity! I like it better than other noisemakers since it takes a bit of finesse to get a good sound out of it. Anyone who has ever tried to carry one of these around knows what a pain it can be which is why this collapsible one is fantastic. It makes it much easier to take with you.

Note- if you haven't played a vuvuzela before you have to buzz your lips to make a sound, just like other horns. It may take a few tries but don't give up! You too can irritate friends and soon to be enemies!

At first i was just blowing in it and it wasnt working, and i was very upset. Then i figured out that you have to put both your lips inside and blow and it works. Its so much fun and if you blow it right its such a loud noise! Its great, it definitely lives up to the talk. It is plastic and folds in so .. I would like to invest in one of the real ones but for .. i think it was 8$ it works perfect. Great buy and shipping came a day earlier than expected !!!! :) hope it helps

This horn works good. It it cut in the middle so it collapses into 2 parts for convenient storage. Very loud! Very easy to learn how to play too. Especially if you played a trumpet or any other brass instrument.
