5.0 out of 5 stars Power packed with artful storytelling, July 20, 2009

This review is from: Stadium Stories: Tennessee Volunteers: Colorful Tales of the Orange and White (Stadium Stories Series) (Mass Market Paperback)
I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of content packed in this economical book. The writer has an art for storytelling and was so much more entertaining than the typical college football books retelling history in a droll fashion. There were new details and twists on old Vol stories, and interesting tidbits and anecdotes that I'd never heard before. A treasure chest of interesting trivia, much focused on the interesting people that make up Vol history. This is not a comprehensive historical review of Tennessee football, but it is a much better read than that. Highly recommend.
