This fan is billed as a quality stylish piece. It's just not built up to standard. The bracket on the bottom that connects the two ends of bent wood together is cheap. Out of the box the fan looks like an oval not a circle.
For a couple more dollars they could have used a suitable bracket that would retain the circular shape.
Do not buy this item in it's current state.

This is a great looking fan for modern interiors, not to many of those around. Runs quiet, slightly adjustable, but not much tilting adjustment with the small legs uo front. Three speeds, moves are around ok, definitely not going to blow you away. Good to circulate air with. Loves the looks and get compliments on it. Slightly disappointed that the high speed isn't any better.

Two Days ago I received my fan.

The wood color looks very different than on the pictures, it's very red and there's no protective finish, oil or anything on it. It does look rather cheap. The red apparently comes from some sort of paint they cover the wood with as it broken off on some spots on the edges, also there's a very large spot inside that hasn't been covered with paint where the wood is much brighter. It adds to the cheap apperance.

The disk holding the fan blades seems to be off centre, so when the fan is turned on the whole thing wobbles around and the fan starts moving around. Also it seems to be pretty noisy.

Regarding the adjustable feet, both of them are broken, when turning them to adjust the height they will just turn around but not move in height.

So in all 3 different defects on the fan i received. They seem to have serious quality control issues.
I complained with the seller and I'm waiting for an answer to see how i can get a replacement.

I like this fan very fan much. Nicely designed. Small and compact.
Comes in 3 speeds, not as powerful as expected.
Would not complain on the power as it is more of a table than floor fan.

But to be honest, i was disappointed on the Quality Control of the product.
Mine had a deep pen knife cut on the top of the African sapele wood.
The wooden plank was not properly blend at the joint, resulting in an egg shaped circumference.
And yes, the box concealing it is in good condition showing no sign of drop or force cut.

I have thought of returning the product but by doing that i will have to pay a big sum for shipping there and back.
If anyone is looking to get this, i would recommend you to go down to the store physical.

This is the only table fan I can stand sitting next to for hours while working on my laptop in the living room or having a quiet conversation with friends. We live in the desert, so efficient cooling in the summer is important. It is by far the most quiet fan I have come across and I have tried many in all price ranges. When sitting next to it I keep it on the lowest setting. It definitely is not a wind making machine, but very functional for the intended purpose of a quiet, short range cooling device. In addition, it blends in well with most furniture styles and its construction is of high quality, especially the motor. I have purchased my two Otto fans two years ago discounted for $149 at a different site. So searching for better pricing may be worth for this item. Both fans still run and look like new, and I am intending to buy more, probably one for every room in my house. Overall a great purchase and I am very happy to have spent a bit more on a nice looking item that I actually end up using.

This is an expensive fan. You're paying for its good looks. I ordered mine through Design Public (with free shipping) Its shape is a perfect circle, but if I had received it as described in some of the other reviews I would have: 1) Requested a return UPS label from the seller to cover the return shipping costs. 2) Told them to properly inspect the second unit before they sent it to me.

There's nothing like this fan on the market. It's quiet, handsome, unique. Is it worth the money? That only you can decide. For me, it was.

I spent a year decorating and needed two fans to get the coverage in a medium sized living room. I needed something esthetic but functional. When it comes to looks, there are limited options available that even come close to giving this esthetic attention. But thats where the good news end.

The wood itself is thin, un-uniform (more of an oval shape) and the ends dont even align properly. One of the fans had a screw loose, and the metal plate that holds everything together was considerably cheap and uninspiring.
As far as performance, I have the new Vornado in the bedroom. Its heavy duty plastic and is a silent beast even on low. The Stadler on high makes a tremendous amount of noise and delivers similar airflow to the Vornado on slow. Its quite ridiculous. You also get a sense that the Stadler is struggling on high. It also rattles intermittently and unpredictably. Extremely disappointing.
From a distance, it passes the visual test, but up close, its cheaper looking and has the performance more akin to my table fan in college. The nail in the coffin is the price. This fan charades as something it aspires to be. Do yourself a favour. If you need air, get a Vornado. If youre willing to heavily sacrifice performance for looks, this may fit the bill. In closing, two of these in my front room, on low, cannot match my single Vornado on low, in the same space.
