Filmed almost completely inside a house, this movie is almost a play, about a party with two guest girls that goes terribly wrong, and the characters fight to hide what happened, with fear of their reputations. THe dialogues are fantastic, the rhythm is absorbing, McCarthy is great, Stockwell is great. Onle the conclusion is a little bit weak.

A gripping tale of a pre-wedding party gone wrong. Things get out of hand when two strippers get in trouble at a stag. The movie was even made better when our man Mr. John Henson graced us with his hanson young mug. This man is a legend of his time. Go watch the film and you'll agree, what a way to spent a rainy day.

This was a great flick that I caught on Showtime time one night. Stellar performances by John Stockwell and John Henson and a brilliant and convincing performance by long-time m.i.a. Andrew McCarthy as one of the childhood friends now drug-dealer and organizer of the stag party 'entertainment'. A suprisingly good performance by the 80's pop icon Taylor Dane - who knew she could act?

Recently saw STAG and thought it was very well done. Not into the violence, but the strong performances carries it along. Fun to see Taylor Dayne acting, John Henson as the gay character & Lawrence Leritz as the cop at the end of the movie (also have his video Total Stretch!). Great unsual casting!

This film is nothing like thought it would be. I thought it would be similar to "Jawbreaker" but "Stag" has more in common with "Training Day" with a bit of "Single White Female" thrown into the mix. It is about a Bachlor Party aka a "Stag" party that goes tragically wrong! The movie starts and ends dramatically. The story line in the middle of the film for about 4 scenes is where things get a bit muddled when all ten men involved attempt to sort out the messy situation. I must say Taylor's peformance in this film is excellent! She truly is one of the strongest figures in "Stag" because she stands out so much more than the other characters. "Stag" is worth getting a copy of for Taylor multi faceted, showstopping performances!

This is a very sad movie. If people would only tell the truth at the start these guys would not have been in so much trouble.

Although I'm not a fan of thrillers, This flick is full of interesting performances. including Ben Gazzara, Taylor Dayne, John Henson & Lawrence Leritz.

The movie was slow and a little boring. Like a B class movie that didnt quite make it... I wanted to see Taylor Dayne... Maybe not her best film and there was no singing either.

Recently saw this flick. Like the performances by Taylor Dayne, Kevin Dillion and liked seeing Lawrence Leritz as the Cop. I'm a fan...have his video Total Stretch! with Lawrence Leritz.
