Product Description

Remove 90% or more of fluoride as well as other contaminates from your water with our four stage countertop water filtration system. These systems are easy to install; just hook it to your faucet (does not work with faucets with pull out sprayers). We use Brimac bone char as a filtration media with an NSF61 certification. Bone char is the very best fluoride option available and also removes a host of other pollutants. With the four stage you get three bone char filters, one carbon block and the housings for each. Remove fluoride, heavy metals, pesticides, chlorine and much more. You get 2 two stage systems that can be hooked together with 18" of tubing (provided) in order to place the system the way you want for your counter. Each section has the following dimensions: Length: 10in, Depth: 5 in, Height: 13 in. Note: If the sediment turbidity of your water is high from old pipes or frequent line breaks, we recommend a sediment pre-filter to keep your three stage system from clogging with debris. See our other listings for countertop and four stage options.

This is the only counter top system I could find that actually removes fluoride. The first few months the water tasted a little carbon-like, but now it tastes awesome.

This filter is great.
If you don't want poison flouride in your water or heavy metals you should have some type of filter. And I read that these bone char filters are the best for filtering flouride which is why I got mine. There's a funny taste at first but it goes away in a few day once you put a few gallons through it. Now it's perfect.

Easy to install
Taste great, especially to raw city water
And I know these filters will last a long time.

Fight the power, don't drink poison, get a filter.

I did not ordered from here, but I have this unit and is using three bone char filters and one KDF/GAC filter. I went with KDF to further help filtering out the chlorine and chloramine.

For installation, if you can read and take your time it should not be hard work, especially if you installed one of these before. You just need a good plier or something to tightly screw in the "faucet adapter thing" very securely or water will leak, it did a tiny bit for me but it depends on the quality of your faucet I guess so no big deal. It does come with an aerator so you don't have to reuse yours. It would be nice if the instruction come with photos for lazy people, but not really an issue.

Just a disclaimer, I am not an expert at this, but I have the Hanna Instruments portable Fluoride and Chlorine meters, which have a 5-10% error rate. I was delighted to find that my tap water which have 0.5ppm of Fluoride and 2ppm of Chlorine, after being filtered shows 0ppm on my meters. Considering the measuring instrument not being precise, I'm sure there are small amount of the substances. However, what I care about is the dosage, and this result put me at ease. I was a bit skeptical, but it seems if I put the chlorine reagent into my non-filtered tap water, it would turn bright pink, on the other hand the filtered water would stay clear, so at least I know it is working in removing chlorine. (My Rainshow'r GG-2010 garden water filter that uses KDF only would turn partially pink.) From my what I gathered, I believe the greater number of stages help improve the filtering, along with the slowing down of the water flow.

The water tastes just fine. At first, it will have a slight carbon taste, this is normal, you can just let the water run for a while after installing a new filter before initially consuming from it. I will check again in the future to make sure my measurement is right, but so far I have confidence in this product.
