It *does* work with the Blue Yeti, but it takes some effort to get it on the first time.
It definitely muffles sound a little (not so much as to make it unusable), so don't use this if you just need simple pop filtering and are recording in a controlled, indoor environment (like a stage or studio)--in those situations, just get a real pop filter/screen or a better windscreen.
This windscreen is great for situations like field reporting or recording while outdoors or in places where you don't have control over the environment, and there may be moving air (ever been stuck right next to an air vent at an event?).
Overall, well worth the price to have a couple of these laying around, but not the highest quality windscreen I've used.
It holds together quite nicely.
However, the foam ball doesn't couple so well with a microphone for anytime of pop filtering.
If you want high frequencies to bleed through to your microphone, look elsewhere...
This foam ball will muffle your sound. It's about a half an inch think.
I will not be using this for vocal miking as I had intended. I'll find some random use though.
The color is very, very bright. It might be too bright for some people, but I like it. Not good for Vic Fontaine, but it would work well for a clown or a darker environment. I have not yet tested to see if it is UV reactant, but I doubt it.
And it's not as purple as the picture appears on a standard TN monitor.
It is actually pretty durable. I was able to stretch it over both a cheap Maxell kareoke mic and my Audio-Technica MB3k, which is larger. It pulled over just fine without giving any indication that it would tear. No sagging either.
Get one. Why not? It's $2. Even if you don't have a full-sized microphone, it might make a good cat toy, clown nose, hat addition...the possibilities are endless!

I bought this for a Blue Yeti because I saw that a lot of reviewers said it would fit. I gradually stretched it out and tried slowly sliding it on bit by bit. Read morePublished 1 day ago by V
Used on my Blue Yeti. Took forever to stretch over it without ripping it, but it works great instead of using a clunky pop filter. Haven't tested closer than about 1 foot though.Published 2 days ago by Amazon Customer
I'm using it for my BLUE YETI.
It was hard to get on, needed some stretching beforehand, but it went on. Read more
This Foam Ball is okay. It does not cover my blue yeti. I saw the reviews by some that it can fit. But for me, when I was trying pulling it, it torn apart because I was using too... Read morePublished 4 days ago by Lijie Lin
