This is a pretty average windscreen, probably worth the cheap price.

It *does* work with the Blue Yeti, but it takes some effort to get it on the first time.

This mic screen fits perfectly on a Shure SM58, PG48, and most other standard varieties of mics with a 'ball' on the end. It is simple to slide over the end of the mic, and only adds a little more bulk.

It definitely muffles sound a little (not so much as to make it unusable), so don't use this if you just need simple pop filtering and are recording in a controlled, indoor environment (like a stage or studio)--in those situations, just get a real pop filter/screen or a better windscreen.

This windscreen is great for situations like field reporting or recording while outdoors or in places where you don't have control over the environment, and there may be moving air (ever been stuck right next to an air vent at an event?).

Overall, well worth the price to have a couple of these laying around, but not the highest quality windscreen I've used.

I stuck this on a Zoom H1. I bought this vice getting some super expensive furry thing. Works fine for my armature endeavors. Worth the price.

It was shipped promptly! Cudos.
It holds together quite nicely.
However, the foam ball doesn't couple so well with a microphone for anytime of pop filtering.
If you want high frequencies to bleed through to your microphone, look elsewhere...
This foam ball will muffle your sound. It's about a half an inch think.
I will not be using this for vocal miking as I had intended. I'll find some random use though.

It does what it is supposed to do--keep your breath from hitting your mic and making things not as nice. It does muffle the audio a little, but not enough to make it overtake the purpose and make it a nusence.
The color is very, very bright. It might be too bright for some people, but I like it. Not good for Vic Fontaine, but it would work well for a clown or a darker environment. I have not yet tested to see if it is UV reactant, but I doubt it.
And it's not as purple as the picture appears on a standard TN monitor.

It is actually pretty durable. I was able to stretch it over both a cheap Maxell kareoke mic and my Audio-Technica MB3k, which is larger. It pulled over just fine without giving any indication that it would tear. No sagging either.

Get one. Why not? It's $2. Even if you don't have a full-sized microphone, it might make a good cat toy, clown nose, hat addition...the possibilities are endless!

Fits fine on the end of the Tascam DR-05 recorder, sure looks a lot better than the fluffly "dead cat."
