I have this item in my shopping cart in Amazon.com for a couple of months already waiting for a sale.
Finally, the sale came last week when the price was lowered by the seller.
I completed the transaction immediately.
It came in a nice box with the parts ready to be assembled.
It's light assembly took about 5 minutes.
The slots and screws were color coded so there's really no need to read the instruction.
The stand is so strong I could literally lie on it.
It supports my newly purchased Yamaha CP33 (40 lbs) nicely and won't shake while playing (being on carpet).
It can easily adjust the height (the very reason I bought this ergo-lock model) with a press of the adjust lever.

This is one of the best stands I saw in the stores.

Highly recommended.
We have two more of the same stand in our church. It is great.

this thing weights about 45 lbs and i wanted to have a very sturdy stand. I don't get why people pay a lot for a synth or keyboard but cheap out on a stand!

that said - this thing is solid. very easy to assemble and has a nice lever to change the height of the stand.

My hubby bought this to support our very heavy and large electric piano. It works great. I have to sit back a bit so that my knees don't hit the cross when I play but that's o.k. - it encourages good posture. The heavy duty keyboard stand is also much more affordable for us than a proper electric piano stand.

I purchased this stand to hold a big, heavy soundboard. It is remarkably sturdy was easy to put together. Very happy with this purchase. Great price, too.

I looked at almost 10 different piano stands before settling on this one; and I think I made the right choice. The first thing I would point out is how easy the adjustment lever is to use; it's about the best implementation I've seen. Furthermore, the gear system that actually 'locks' the stand at various angles is far superior to the "bolt-through-the-hole" approach taken by much cheaper stands. It's sorta hard to explain how it works, but its somewhere between that approach and a bicycle gear.

I use this stand with a KORG SP-250 and it fits perfectly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this stand.

Works well, but I agree with other reviews that I wish it had a way to lock in the keyboard. Doesn't move much when I play, but my little 7 year old friend has more trouble without that locking feature.

Shipped as a printed new unopened box packed inside another box for protection. Assembled in minutes using the colored stickers and supplied allen wrench. The directions were for the model without the ergo lock. It doesn't go low enough for a 9 year old to sit on a normal chair, but she likes to stand in front of it anyway. Looks very professional. I recommend it.

This is a very good keyboard stand. It's very sturdy, easy to elevate and doesn't bite your fingers. The squeeze release really does allow you to raise/lower one handed but you have to lift up the end of the keyboard to get your hand under it so if you've got a heavy keyboard you might need a second set of hands. Otherwise it's easy to come/go with this one.

The keyboard stand is perfect. Sturdy and stable for the active household. No worries about damaging keyboard.
