It's pretty much as advertised. Well built, good for mic'ing amps, acoustic guitars, it even extends just tall enough for me to sing standing up (I'm 5'8). I use it for home recording, but I'm sure you'll find use for it live or in the studio.

This is great for mic'ing amp cabs or anything where a full size mic stand is too long. Can be used on a table, too, or by children who can't reach a full-size stand. Rugges and constructed well. Highly recommended.
