This book is a wonderful time-saver and teaching tool, especially for less experienced stage managers. It includes templates for all production forms that can be photocopied directly from the book for rehearsal use. It's also a great starting point for those who prefer to create their own forms on a computer. It includes helpful descriptions of how to use each form, as well as examples.

Dilker's Stage Management Forms and Formats is very useful to keep on hand for stage managers, especially those with little experience. I personally prefer to make all my forms and reports on the computer and did not utilize this book all that much. It is, however, a good reference when creating your own forms and, for those less computer-savvy, I'm sure it would be extraordinarily helpful, as you can photocopy straight from the book. It contains a wide variety of forms for use throughout the entire rehearsal and performance process and, depending on your stage management style and experience, is a great reference to keep on hand.

great book for forms when you're in a hurry or an excellent base for creating you own. every form you could need blank and ready to copy at 8 1/2 by 11.
