This is an excellent compilation album from Michael Ball, with some of the best songs taken from his first albums from the musical theatre and from the movies. Songs from the stage include classics like Memory, All I Ask of You, With One Look, You'll Never Walk Alone, and his own Love Changes Everything, all interpreted superbly by the West End's golden-voiced star. From the silver screen, Mr. Ball takes screen favorites like The Way We Were, Love on the Rocks, My Heart Will Go On, Wind Beneath My Wings, Have I Told You Lately, and We Have All the Time in the World and gives them his own inimitable stamp. There are a few other songs in this bonus album of well-selected and superbly-performed songs. This is highly recommended to any music lover.

Michael Ball does a great job in "Stage And Screen" taking most of our favorite songs from our favorite musicals and movies. Not only does Michael have a great voice he also shows his feelings through song. I listen and re-listen to this C.D.
If nothing else, you have to buy this C.D. for his version of "All I Ask Of You."-- it is so beautiful and the best version of the song I've ever heard. It's simply a crime they don't have an Phantom of the Opera album when Michael played Raoul. I have listened to "All I Ask Of You" over 70 times on last count on my iPod. This a C.D. that is a must for Phantom, Les Mis, and easy listening fans-- buy this C.D you will not regret it!

Five years ago I received this CD in a gift basket from my son on the occasion of his wedding. At the time I had not heard of Michael Ball, but immediately fell in love with his voice and the song choices on this CD. The music is so familiar and relaxing and evokes all the images of the stage and screen we love. I have played this CD over and over and never tire of listening to that magnificent voice. I have hundreds of CDs but this ranks among the best - to listen to, to sing or hum along to, and for me, to recall my son's wedding day.
