5.0 out of 5 stars awesome stand
This stand rocks. I've had it for two years, throwing it around in our band's trailer and it is as sturdy as always. I leave the second tier on permanently and it still folds up quick and nice. The Quick-lok system never fails and the way you squeeze the handle at the top to unlock the middle of the X is convenient and sturdy. Couldn't be better for me

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent, I wouldn't say heavy duty
Picked up this stand in December 2011 to replace a double keyboard stand that gave out on me. It gets the job done but I wouldn't say I'm thrilled about it. It comes as a disassembled single stand, and a separate additional tier that adds on. I didn't feel this was clearly noted for consumers.(If you have a single stand, save yourself the $ and just buy the upper tier...

For my setup, this keyboard stand is ideal. 2 keyboards right where you want them, and nothing to interfere with the sustain pedal below. Price was excellent, and delivery prompt.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very stable!, September 13, 2009
This review is from: On-Stage Stands Deluxe Heavy Duty X 2-Tier Keyboard Stand
The piano teacher recommended this because our single support stand was wobbly. Easy to assemble and he's a happy instructor now! We have a small Yamaha keyboard and it fits nicely. He says now we can upgrade to 88 keys anytime!

Picked up this stand in December 2011 to replace a double keyboard stand that gave out on me. It gets the job done but I wouldn't say I'm thrilled about it. It comes as a disassembled single stand, and a separate additional tier that adds on. I didn't feel this was clearly noted for consumers.(If you have a single stand, save yourself the $ and just buy the upper tier attachment)

The cross-support on the upper tier is only possible to attach with the arms completely vertical. This leaves too large of a gap for a Microkorg and other smaller synths.

Also worth noting: one of my screws for the assembly was shorter than all the others, leaving one leg much weaker than the others. Overall, I would say I was much happier with my Proline stand than my On-Stage stand. Now we see if it stands the test of time

4.0 out of 5 stars Great, November 7, 2011

The stand is surely heavy duty for big pianos such as a 88key. However other then the heaviness , it surely does the job when it comes to loading a 88 key piano and a small synthesizer.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent service, semi-excellent stand!, July 20, 2011

I love this stand! I have very heavy keyboards that need this kind of support. I ran into a number of issues setting it up, however. The stand was somewhat crooked, the second tier especially. I contacted the company and they sent me a new second tier for free. I was very pleased about that! However, this didn't help the problem. I broke out several protractors and levels but still had an unpleasantly crooked second tier. Eventually I gave up and just took the rubber support band off one side of the tier and that fixed it. It will probably end up eventually scratching my keyboard, though.

If this stand was properly aligned then it would have been one of the best purchases of my life. That is the only reason I am giving this 4 stars.

The customer service was amazing, however. My complaint was replied to same-day and the replacement part was shipped the next day!

Love it! Easy to build, sturdy, firm, perfect fit, and 2nd tier is greatly adjustable to any piano or synthesizer! This is also the best price I have found anywhere! Not one complaint! Would definitely recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Sturdy and Adaptable, March 3, 2011

This shipped fast and arrived in good condition. It is pretty easy to put together. I have an 80 key Edirol Midi controller and a computer keyboard on top, and an 80 key Yamaha PSR on the bottom. Since the PSR has a wide control surface, it has to be exposed. This was easily done by using a bungee cord to hold down the back. In other words, the PSR keyboard had to overhang by a few inches so I can see all the functions. Unit is very sturdy, heavy duty, and stable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sweet Stand!!, October 16, 2010

This review is from: On-Stage Stands Deluxe Heavy Duty X 2-Tier Keyboard Stand
For the price this is probably the best stand out there. It's very sturdy, thus the "heavy duty", so it can hold heavier keyboards. It very good while playing at gigs where you need more than one keyboard. My only complaint about the whole thing is that they printed the name brand on it in the front :P. Besides that this is awesome and an excellent stand weather you're a pro or a beginner.
