The best visual book I've ever seen., December 11, 2002
I know that seems like very high praise, given the subject matter, but Stages is quite frankly, one of the most beautiful books I've ever seen. The design is innovative and just beautiful, and the photography unparalleled. If you know anyway who is a Britney fan, this is a must-have, and a surefire hit for a gift. The DVD that comes with is shows you Britney in her hotel room, hanging out, even getting a psychic reading! It made me realize for the first time that she's really just a normal person -- and quite a polite, kind girl at that. It's interesting -- i remember the hype about Mexico City last summer and how much the press blamed her for leaving her concert early -- well Stages tells the real story, and it's incredibly compelling. People will see her point of view, and maybe even change their minds about her when they see this book and how well-done it is. I really, really recommend this book. By the way, if you're a fan, I was surfing and found britneystages.com -- and it's a great preview for the book and DVD -- you can even watch clips of it. I just can't say enough about how well done this book and DVD is. Even if you don't like Britney, Stages is just an exceptional -- and very "grown up" visual experience.

...a MUST HAVE for all Britney fans..., December 28, 2002
By A Customer
I really cannot describe what an enjoyable book this is. It is very well done and interesting with fabulous personal pictures of Britney. What is better, though, is the DVD that comes with it (inside the book cover) titled "3 Days in Mexico". Basically, Britney had a camera follow her around for 3 days while she lived her life (she never acknowledges the camera) and the viewer is able to see her sleep, put makeup on, talk to her friends, eat, etc...I adored the DVD and found Brit to be much more down to earth than she appears. I STRONGLY recommend this book/DVD set to anyone even SLIGHTLY interested in britney, and for her hardcore fans (like me): BUY THIS ASAP, it is AWESOME!! By the way, inside the book, you also receive a full size poster thats very cute. Bottom line= an interesting, personal peek into her life that is WELL worth the...

a MUST HAVE item for all the fans, February 6, 2003
Stages is the Book/DVD which gives you a insider look on Britney Spears latest tour "Dream within a dream". The book has 104 pages, with lots of beautiful pictures of Britney performing and at hotel rooms. Before anyone is in doubt, just like I was until I got the item, this book sold at amazon.com comes with the DVD on the back cover, plus a poster. The DVD is a documentary called "Three days in Mexico" following Britney during her visit to that country. It is awesome, because it shows Britney giving interviews to mexican press, "testing" the stage before the concert and even brushing her teeth. Believe me, this is the way you get intimate to Britney, as if you were a member of her crew, and without the risk of being considered a stalker. The DVD reveals the mystery behind all the buzz about Britney leaving the mexican concert before it was over. The documentary shows the effort of her producers to continue the show, in spite of the heavy rain, which made the whole performance unsafe. Even those who are not Britney fans will appreciate this book/dvd package, since it is a very revealing and true portrait of an artist, showing everyone who the real Britney is.
