I purchased the Stagg Alto and Tenor Saxaphone stand for my tenor saxaphone when I play with various bands. It holds my tenor saxaphone just fine and folds conveniently for carrying. The top is rubber wrapped to keep from scratching the instrument. The top can be height adjusted, though only a couple inches. With the top full in, it stands 19 inches tall with legs at 18 inch triangular spread. The top can be removed for travel. When removed, the unit occupies 15 inches in length.

The stand works just fine for me.

Lightweight and adequately padded where it touches the instrument, but holds the instrument too upright, making it seem easy to tip over. I would have spent more to get a sturdier one.
