I have worked in stores that carry both Staheekums and Uggs. I find that Uggs are overated. Staheekums quality is comparible if not more than Uggs. And at half the price. Don't buy Uggs. Get Staheekum and you'll save a bunch and get a better boot. Besides, they are probably all made at the same factory in China. Get real...Uggs are not made in Australia. Read the box. My Stakeekums have lasted and look new for years.

Below is my original review. I got my larger boots, and they fit, but after only a couple of weeks of not-too much wear, the fur is very packed down and not-soft in several places. Not only that, there is a stiffness to the suede that is causing the heel to rub on my achilles, giving me a blister. Blister from sheep boots? The are warm and sturdy and nice looking, but I have to wear socks and they aren't really comfortable. Big dissapointment. The crappy ones I bought at Costco two years ago are way softer. Lame.

Original review: (I am still giving these boots a 5, because they are so dreamy I have ordered the next size up before even sending the too small ones back. I wear an 8 in everything, and they were a whole size smaller when comparing them to any other similar show I have! My toes bang the end. They are very sturdy with incredily thick fur, and I just can't wait for the right size to arrive! I would recommend you buy these if you are looking for affordable UGG style boots, just go one size up.)

I purchased the boots in a size 8 (which I wear in everything) and they just fit my foot - no room for a sock. Thankfully, I decided to return them and try the next size up - what a difference. I love them! The quality of the suede, sheepskin and rubber sole are really nice. Amazon made the return so easy - e-mailed me a shipping label, at no cost to me, and shipped the new pair immediately. For the price, quality and service I received, I am quite happy!

These are nice boots; but run small; if your a 1/2 size, order the next size up. Theyre warm boots, comfy. Like all the sheepskin or wool boots, they have no arch; so they aren't exactly great for your feet; but they definately keep them warm. For the price, they are well worth it. Just order a size up:-)

I read all your reviews, for which I thank you, before placing my order. And I am not disappointed. I needed a new pair of in-house warm-wear for my size nines and chose the chestnut ones over footwear labelled slippers. The size ten is a perfect fit with cotton socks, none too big but easy enough to pull on - so I'd say it runs at least a half-size small. No, there is no particular arch support although the heavy interior shearling will function as one as it forms to my foot pattern. I had some concern that the substantial sole might cause the boot to be hard to maneuver but that does not seem to be the case. Rather, it gives me the option of outdoor wear, or in-and-out if need be. Apparently in some regions people have adopted this Ugg-looking footwear as fashionable but I haven't seen that where I live so wouldn't be in a hurry to go around town looking quite this clunky. (As if I really care.) But I just luuuuuv the excellent quality and great warmth of this boot! And lucky me, all this for under thirty bucks.

These boots are very well-made and great for the price...they have a stiffer sheepskin that takes awhile to give in and their wool lining on the inside of the boot is super thick for extra warmth...Overall I'm very satisfied with the boot, but be careful, they do tend to run small so you may want to size up...

It's a nice alternative to over-priced Ugg boots. I especially like the sturdy soles and the quality of the materials. I went up half a size and they fit quite nicely.

I am so pleased with these boots. They are very nicely made using quality materials. The sheepskin lining is very thick and soft,the boots have quality stitching and the lug soles give me great confidence on the snow and ice. I sprayed my down with scotchguard to repel moisture. I would recommend these boots to anyone.

Even though I'm allergic to wool, the shearling inside doesn't make me itch- but feels like fur. They do run true to size, are warm without being hot & your feet don't sweat (I wear socks inside them). Even though I have big calves do to years of varied exercise, I can still tuck my pant legs inside. They aren't heavy, and am extremely happy! Highly recommend!

I found thses boots several years ago in a magazine and wore them every day!! They lasted for years and are sooo warm and comfortable. These are way better than UGGS and cheaper but the quality is not. Very well made!! I have been looking for a new pair for a while now and found em on here so I ordered 2 pairs!! I am looking for a pair for my mom also. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them!!!!!!!!!
