I thought it would be a little more brushed metal, its not. it is super shiny and shows all fngerprints.

Even though this product was not as heavy as I had anticipated or hoped for, I am please with it. The bottom was definitely made more heavy duty than the top of the dish. The handle is perfect for lifting the lid. Stainless steel covered butter dishes are next to impossible to find so I was delighted to see them offered here.

The dish is large enough that the butter does not get squished against the side. And there's a little handle to lift off the top of the dish. Wonderful.
